1st time we've been here since the change and was good..Most of our group choose from the 2 for £10 menu and looked like you get a good portion so good value, we chosed the pinini with sweet potato fries as wanted a light bite for lunch but ended up being a big plate of fries, nothing wrong with that just a bit more than we thought, although the bacon was done properly (slightly crispy) the one with bbq sauce didn't have much sauce so was dry. . on the whole a nice airy fresh looking pub with a good menu. Enjoyed lunch here. Food was ample and decent fries for a change - most pubs fries are either greasy or hard. Here they are dry and soft as they should be. Chicken was juicy and of a good size too. Can't complain at price. £70 for 5 of us at lunch is decent. Staff were patient and attentive. No complaints from me at all. Would go again. More...

Had a 50th wedding anniversary meal with 22 members of our family and had a lovely meal.steak and fish meals were ordered by most and all agree they were very nice and good value.

It was too hot to cook, so we made our way here. As always, the staff were really friendly and helpful and could accommodate my allergy needs. Considering how hot it would have been in the kitchen (46 degrees), everyone was so lovely, bearing in mind they must have been really uncomfortable from the relentless heat. At last Hellesdon has somewhere within (just about) walking distance for me. It used to be pub(&to a lot of oldies like me ,will still call it The Bull! )There is plenty of parking with several disabled spots as well, just in front of the now only entrance. The food is excellant for the money, with 2for£10&2for£15 menus, excellant choices on both, as well as a normal menu. Good hint for Xmas present/ special occasions-they do gift vouchers! Very nice selection of meals to choose from at reasonable prices. Friendly staff to serve you .meals were nice a hot served to you depending upon what you choose.
