I attended my brothers wedding at the weekend which was held in a local village hall - Domestic chef were hired to do a barbecue for 80 guests - with no prior knowledge of them or personal recommendations it here is always an element of trepidation as to how good it will actually be - but wow did they strike gold ! How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Talk about their likes and dislikes and suitability for the occasion. Base initial discussions on a range of standard menus then adapt.
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative and meeting clients and their families and friends on great occasions and serving great food that makes everyone happy!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Developed a passion for cooking 20+ years ago and became fed-up with corporate life and decided to put my cookery skills to work. Now we provide private and corporate catering services in our area.
