This Hotel is a Little gem I would highly recommend it. We had our daughter's wedding reception at this venue and it was perfect. Leigh and Emily the wedding planners were exceptional, on the day Emily carried out our request after a year of planning the whole day was faultless. I can not thank them all as a team enough. The staff were professional and very helpful nothing was too much bother. Mr Obhrai the owner was Hands on and his hospitality was a five star standard. The food was amazing Full of flavour all served on time , hot and fresh to over 120 guest far better than local competition such as Galloping Gourmet Who's venue we were originally going to book, so glad we chose the Casa hotel . The packages they provide are extremely good value for money taken into consideration the service and the professionalism of the staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of booking an event or a wedding here. Our guests on the day are still mentioning how good The food was and for all the guests that stayed over a banquet breakfast was provided the following day for everyone to have together which made this very personal to our family. Hi all I wanted to write a review on the wheelers restaurant that myself and my fiancée visited last night.
Upon arrival we were greeted and asked if we wanted to go straight through to our table or a drink in the bar, which was great especially as we had rushed around getting sorted to get there in time for our 7:30 booking.
We say for a while and had a drink looked through the menu. The fist thing that struck me was the prices, I was expecting extortionate prices due to the name over the door, it wasn't the case it was very reasonable. The choice of starters and mains were good. After ordering the starters came out within about 10 minutes immaculately presented and bloody tasty ( shredded duck & duo of pork ) the waiter who was a Spanish chap was attentive but not intrusive and was quirky but brilliant. The main courses again 10 minutes after our plates cleared, stunning I had steak and have eaten at some of the top chef acclaimed steak places in London and I have to say it was as near as dammit as good. Cooked to perfection not fatty and presentation perfect. Deserts well I can only say incredible but huge ( with 3 courses sharing might be an option lol.
The waiter was always on hand to check if things were OK and to pour the wine.
Other diners seemed to be enjoying their evening and in fact from what I saw even the bar menu looked good.
In short I'd recommend the place for a beautiful meal out with good ambiance, attentive staff and certainly for that occasion meal. I think the wheelers restaurant is a hidden gem in our community at a cost that doesn't break the bank.

Afternoon tea yesterday. Cakes and sandwiches were lovely. Scones were good and tea was topped up as required. We couldn't eat all the cakes so they were wrapped up for us to take home. Staff were very friendly and as it was a birthday they came out and sang to the 3 ladies in the room with a very pretty plate of strawberries and chocolate. Will definitely go back. More...

We had our wedding reception here on Sunday and it was absolutely perfect! The day went without a hitch, and to that I have to say a special thank you to Cara & Michelle. No one could do enough for us, and the gazebo is the best place you could have a summer wedding ceremony. Since our big day, we have had so many comments on how lovely the grounds were, and how amazing the food was at both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet and how immaculate and beautiful the bedrooms were. As for the house DJ Steve, we would highly recommend him, and his ballon swords and animals kept one of the youngest guests (and a few of the older ones) very happy and entertained. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Once a again, a massive thank you for making our dream day a reality. We will be back to celebrate our anniversary next year! More...

We had our Xmas party last night it was a really lovely evening. Food and drinks were great only thing we missed was the coffee at the end.

We had our wedding here in May this year and it was perfect - Michelle and Hannah on the day were there seeing to every need of mine and my husbands needs. The run up was just as easy with meetings and constant contact no amount of questions from myself were ever unanswered. They catered to our individual needs and made us feel like anything was too much. What a beautiful wedding location. Myself and my now husband got married here on the 14th of July, Michelle and Hanna are absolutely amazing! Couldn’t ask for more organised staff to keep the bride and groom relaxed! The day went really well, food was amazing, didn’t hear one complaint and with one of our guests having celiac disease and can become very poorly of contamination happens, they took this very seriously and ensured he had a completely safe meal for him. The honeymoon suite is amazing, gorgeous decoration and a very comfortable bed! The breakfast they do in the morning was lovely, didn’t run out at all even with a lot of people down at the same time. If anybody is considering getting married here, I highly recommend it, you won’t regret it. Thank you Michelle and Hanna, you made our day perfect xx More...

Nice hotel in a very handy location. Lady on reception was very friendly. Room was nice, quiet and warm. The shower was like being caught in a very very very light rain shower. Pretty much pointless hence 4*

The steak restaurant and bar elevates a slightly quirky hotel to a little above average. The room costs reflect the quality of the rooms, clean and functional, but this is no luxury stay. Rooms in some parts of the hotel are prone to noise from bars beneath and adjacent rooms. Redecorated around 2015, it's now looking due for another refresh. Went for a wedding stayed for two nights, the staff and service was really good, room clean but only a shower from the bath taps other than that the only thing that could be improved was the cooked breakfast and that's because it's pre cooked and left heated with lids on and that made it sweat and taste funny.

Recovered well and impressed
My wife took me to this restaurant for my birthday and on a recommendation that the steaks were good.
First impressions were good and the surroundings were really nice, sitting near the open fire. Very atmospheric.
We had cause to complain about something and this is where the restaurant showed it's true colours. They took our complain seriously and demonstrated this by offering a solution which blew us away. We were incredibly impressed.
(I'm not saying what the problem was or what they did to remedy it, as there may be some less scrupulous people our there reading this who might try to copy us for all the wrong reasons)
How a restaurant recovers in times like this, how they handle genuine complaints is a good indicator about the quality establishment. They impressed us and we will definitely go back again.
