Our website is the best way to contact us, but we just wanted to take a minute to introduce ourselves. We are Jacob and Rachael Carter, a husband and wife photo team.
We both went to art school at the University of South Carolina, went to the same church, and had lots of mutual friends for years but our paths didn't actually cross until October 2013.

I could not have asked for a better experience with a wedding photographer. I felt overwhelmed by selecting after we got engaged, it seems everyone is a "photographer" now a days and I didn't know where to begin. A close friend suggested Rachael and Jacob to me and after meeting them, we decided they were a great fit. We didn't even meet with any other photographers. Rachael and Jacob are extremely professional, always keep you in the loop, and are easy to contact. We did our engagement session with them in Cataloochee Valley in NC then a bridal portrait session, and our wedding day. The day of the wedding they arrived early, executed our mutually agreed upon timeline wonderfully, and were so great and kind with our family members, particularly elderly ones! Rachael is so helpful in helping you find the best angles of yourself and is so relaxed. We received our photos back in such a timely manner which is excellent and their photos are so rich, vibrant, and edited really well. What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
In the world of filmmaking and photography, there are other vendors that are willing to do more for less but their quality is less. We price our work in relation to our quality. We're professional and our work is professional. In this business, you need a professional to create good work that grows your business, and that's what I offer.
What do you love most about your job?
We love being able to work together as husband and wife.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We love being creative and helping other capture memories. Doing those things together is more than enough motivation to do it for a living.
Why should our clients choose you?
We have an approach to photography to capture you. We don't want your wedding photos to be standard or subpar, but for them to be tailored to your needs.
