Best dinner I've had in quite a while. We booked a table to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary and were hoping for something special, The Cart Shed did not disappoint. Between us we tried a lot of the menu, it was all sublime. You know that happy face you make when you taste something so good? That was us all evening. We were slightly confused when we got to the restaurant because it doesn't look like a typical restaurant. It is in a residential area and on the grounds of a farm. Excellent experience. It was like having our own personal chef cooking for us in a cosy farm shed. The waitress was exceptional and took the boys to see the farm turkeys and horses! The food was of a high standard and would not be out of place in a top London restaurant. Steak was cooked perfectly and they accomadated our two small boys with smaller portions. William was a great host and came over numerous times to ensure we were ok and even had time for a quick chat about his plans for his own Beef and try aging process. Keep up the great work More...

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the lovely little Cart Shed restaurant with superb food and very personal service, yesterday, despite their struggling with power supply problems the night before.

The Duck starter was rich and tasty, as was the homemade tomato soup, while the scallops were piquant but 'melt in the mouth'. The mains were even better! Will is a very talented Chef.... More...

Wow!! Loved it, took hubby for a belated birthday meal, wasn't disappointed we both had scallops for starters then I had Mushroom Risotto, hubby had the Sea Bass and I had the Meringue and lime for dessert - food was devine - lovely little restaurant, and staff were amazing and very friendly- will definitely go back - definitely a must for new diners - thanks to all staff at The Cart Shed for a wonderful evening x

A family celebration today (15 of us), which took up most of the space. It's great to have effectively a personal chef and dining room for you.
The food was amazing - the 40 day old steak apparently was sublime. Fish amazing. Front of house staff know how to work the restaurant and make you feel at home

A restaurant the likes of which you are unlikely to have experienced before. A kitchen in a shed, only a very few tables and a short walk through the farmyard to get there. We visited the Cart Shed Yesterday for Father's Day lunch and what a little gem, it's an amazing place. The food was just exquisite. The team were incredibly friendly and the general vibe was very chilled out. We ate outside as the weather was amazing which was just perfect my little one loved rolling around on the grass. What a great little hidden gem!! I don't want to tell too many people about it as it will be fully booked every time I want to go! !! First visit, superb scallops could have done with a little more chilli, the lamb on the other hand was beautiful and well cooked. The cheese board was lovely but a bit more knowledge about the cheese on it from the team, it also said fruit on the menu for the cheese board and there wasn't any!
