The replica in cake of Max, our Border Terrier, was absolutely amazing; I posted a picture on Facebook and it was 'liked' 41 times with 15 comments. It was so lifelike, it was scary! The real Max was very perplexed.. The next question after people had admired it was: 'Yes, but what does it taste like?' I am a chocoholic and the choc sponge filling was perfect; neither dry nor too moist, with very tasty icing. The hardest part was wielding the knife! Really can't recommend Melanie highly enough. Melanie is amazing! She has now done 4 cakes for me for different celebrations and each one has been absolutely incredible and has given great pleasure to the person receiving it.
Increasingly I give Melanie very little in the way of brief other than to fill her in on the background of the person the cake is for and she comes up with all the creative ideas. Not only do her cakes look amazing but every one has tasted fantastic too.
