We recently used this venue for our wedding 9.21.19 and booked it Thursday-Sunday! Everything was amazing, the cabin was amazing and slept everyone very well! I got compliments the entire night of the reception about how beautiful the venue and wedding was the whole event went perfect. Bryon was so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process when it came to his venue. This venue is breath taking and really captures an elegant rustic feel. We loved how secluded this venue was as well. We were able to use a large wooden cross at our ceremony that Bryon provided to us that was ABSOLUTELY beautiful. This venue was perfect! Several of our guests agreed with how beautiful this place is, specially for a wedding. Being able to stay in the cabin for the weekend made it easier for our set up and relaxing after our wedding. Bryon was very accommodating made sure we had everything we needed. We celebrated our wedding here on September 8th and it was BEAUTIFUL! It’s located right outside of florence so it was a convenient location for all our friends and family. We had our wedding here in June, and I would give it ten stars if I could! The owner was so easy to work with, and the venue was BEAUTIFUL. I could not have asked for better. The ceremony spot is great, and the reception area is nice. We had a good breeze the entire time, and there is more than enough space to move the wedding under the covered ceremony spot in the case of rain. It's so beautiful that it would still be a beautiful wedding! The bridal suite is great and there is plenty of space in the cabin for the entire wedding party. The Cabin At Old Spur is one of the best and most accommodating venues I have ever come in contact with. I could not have asked for anything better on my Wedding Day! Fabulous new wedding venue! The convenient location between Sumter, Hartsville, and Florence works great to bring families together. So many details have been considered, like special lighting and makeup table for the bride and bridesmaids in the bridal suite. Unbelievably amenities! The Cabin at Old Spur is a fantastic, stunning- rustic venue I absolutely love! The cabin is beautiful inside and out. My favorite is the brides/bridesmaids room where the bridal party can get ready. The custom wood vanity stations are gorgeous! The entire property is perfect for any event. We reserved The Cabin at Old Spur for my sons 16th Birthday Party. Our experience was outstanding. The property and the facility offered the advantages of a secluded location within a short drive. The Cabin was in immaculate condition, clean and updated in every way. The property offered spacious areas for fun and relaxation, parking and many activities to engage all types of interest. Folks could lounge on the porch that spanned around half of the cabin overlooking the pond or fish, hike or enjoy a walk through woods adjacent to the property. The Cabin at Old Spur is a beautiful wedding venue. The venue is located down a tree covered driveway that opens up to a secret hideaway. The 2 story cabin has 3 bedrooms to accommodate either the ladies to prepare for the wedding or for the guys to hang out and enjoy the day. The wrap around porch over looks an amazing pond with a white sandy beach. In front of the pond would be a beautiful location to have a ceremony. The property also has a shooting range at the back of the property for the fellows to shoot skeet. As a newly engaged couple, my fiancé and I were looking for the perfect place to have our dream wedding. My fiancé, a contractor, received a phone call from a good friend with an plan to turn his cabin into a wedding venue. With great excitement, he instantly accepted. This wedding venue is spectacular. My fiancée and I chose to have our engagement photos taken here and they turned out amazing! The views from the cabin's front porch as the sun sets over the pond and wild fields are breathtaking. They make for the perfect setting for your special day. My fiancé and I were getting ready for our engagement photos and our photographer suggested doing them at this lovely cabin. I admit, I was skeptical at first because I didn't know anything about this venue. However, I was blown away when we drove up to this beautiful 2-story log cabin. The area was secluded and private, the pond had a beach area and dock, there was a shooting range, and multiple areas to lounge on the porch. The owner was extremely pleasant and informative. We fell in love with our photos and if we didn't already have our wedding venue booked, this would be where we would get married.
