Appalling service. I lost my buyer in a straight-forward 3 property chain after 6 months of little progress and 2 months of flat out ignoring emails and phone calls from me, my buyers solicitors, my vendors solicitors and the estate agents for both my sale and purchase.
I have also lost the property I had an offer accepted on too, all due to lack of communication.
I appreciate we are in unprecedented times with regards to the property market and global pandemic, and didn't expect to get instant answers to my queries. However, after sending multiple emails and leaving messages with reception requesting a call back all without so much as an acknowledgement, I have no options but get the Legal Ombudsman involved.

The sales rep Holly appointed Daniel to my case with the premises of him being most experinced to get through things smoothly and at pace. What I am going through is unacceptable and can't imagine if I got the best of Byrne what everyone else must be going through. My partner and I had a great experience with The Byrne Practice- we bought our first home only very recently and we used TBP as our solicitors. Firstly, the price was very reasonable- compared to a lot of other local solicitors, this was the best price we found. Secondly, the service was great- it was fast and supportive + we are very grateful they helped to make this as straight forward as possible. They took care of everything we needed and we were regularly updated with things explained as and when required. We had a quick turn around with our house nearing the end of the process + TBP did everything possible to ensure it happened in time and we moved in exactly when hoped. Highly recommend! More...

Have used a few different conveyancing solicitors over the years, and Dannii at this firm, has been the best experience by a long shot. Contrary to most firms we have always had a lightening fast response from her. First I used property lawyers based in Leicester and had quite the opposite experience (to the extent that I withdrew from their services in spite of loosing the fee). I have also used a well-known and regarded 'virtual' law firm, whose service and response time was no match from that I have received from The Byrne Practice - in spite of costing literally thousands more.I have experienced zero delays and the very best service - Dannii would be my first choice every time. We used the practice to sell our property then a few months later purchase our current property. The sale went through easily and we were very happy with the fees charged (cheaper by far than the other 3 local solicitors practices) so used the practice for the purchase. Again the purchase was handled swiftly and we were able to exchange and complete on the same day on the date we wanted. Emails were always answered in a timely manner and any information shared with us. An example of this being the freehold, which we were able to purchase but wouldn't have thought of doing at the same time had Dannii not given us the option. The only problem we did encounter was the TR1 appeared to have been lost in the post so we had to have another sent out. Perhaps recorded delivery or signed for post would be a good idea for those documents sent from the practice. We would certainly use the service again and would recommend the practice to anyone wanting conveyancing work. More...

All of my questions were answered promptly either by -mail or phone. I found the company both professional and friendly, which helps when selling a property, that does not conform to the standard rules of buying and selling. The overall up front agreed cost was extremely fair, in fact, after the few unforeseen obstacles I had, I would have expected an additional bill, to cover the time spent.
