I recently used Bountiful Catering for a special birthday celebration. Mike quickly worked with me to pull together a customized menu for the event: beef tenderloin, shrimp and grits, sides and appetizers. We also had Sarah as our fabulous server for the evening. The food was absolutely wonderful and Sarah was incredibly helpful and delightful! She even washed my baby's dishes!! I also recommend renting the table service and dishes because it truly makes you hands off from the kitchen and able to enjoy the party. This will be our go to catering company for our family! We have had six lunches catered by Bountiful Basket Catering this year for our monthly meetings and they have all been absolutely delicious. Mike makes food that is delicious, fresh, creative, and he is flexible to accommodate preferences. The highlight of our meetings really is when lunch comes in! Every bite of every dish is worth savoring, even his vegetables. When you can make folks clamor for the veg (without a pound of butter and a pint of cream) you know you've found a great chef. The meat he cooks is tender and flavorful, the side dishes are colorful and yummy. His desserts are the way Mamma made them. We can't wait for the rest of our year of lunches. Licking my chops now! What’s your signature dish?
We specialize in many menu varieties and prefer not to be “pigeon holed” into any one area. As a caterer, we realize we must meet the demands of the client which can encompass many menu needs. We prefer to customize every event and tailor to the clients needs.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We listen, we suggest, and most important keep the avenues of communication open, always.
What do you love most about your job?
Making a client happy from the start, and receiving that telephone call or email to rebook.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a degree in Hotel and Restaurant management, most of my career within hotels involved catering, as that was my favorite area. Always changing. I decided to branch out and work for myself. The pros and cons with business ownership are many but I love doing what I do.
Why should our clients choose you?
We listen first of all. I do have preset menus listed on my website but prefer not to “cookie cut” our menus. We find out your vision, budget, foods that you and your guests prefer and build an event around this information. We are not a hard sell catering company. We respect your wishes and give as much or as little guidance through the process that you prefer.
