I went to Venombase Studios recently for a free workshop they were running on advice for musicians building their identity, niche, and brand. It was so helpful! Chris even ran one:one short sessions where you could converse with him or one of the other speakers, explaining your current roadblocks to which they would provide some tailored advice. This helped me to realise I've been spinning too many plates and need to refocus. Definitely got a positive and warm vibe from them, so would be intrigued to book in recording time once I've decided my next song! More...

Very impressed with the range of knowledge that Chris and the staff that work with him have. Just recently went to an open day event where I had the chance to also network with other musicians PR's etc. love the range of facilities here from the rehearsal rooms, great equipment, photo studio's and more. Did my first session playing here on my Sax and Chris's engineering was spot on.. Definatly looking forward to doing more at Venombase studios and felt very inspired to take my talent further.. Absolutely amazing! I can't thank Emma enough! It was my wedding on 7th July and my videographer cancelled on the day - my maid of honour got in touch and after she heard the story Emma travelled to us at the venue and was our videographer! She was so professional and it was so good of her to come on such short notice! I have received the DVD and keep watching it over and over again - it's amazing! I'm so lucky that due to her kindness I was able to look back at footage of the day! Well what can I say!!! Complete lifesaver!! It was my best friends wedding and the videographer cancelled at 9 in the morning when the wedding was at 2. We phoned around everywhere begging for help as the bride was upset and our last chance hope was Emma. Although she normally makes music videos she agreed to come and help and she literally saved the wedding!! Emma is so so lovely and was completely professional and amazing. I've done quite a few monthly photography networking nights here now, and there is always a lovely warm welcome by those that run the place. Emma does a great job and makes the effort to try and add a bit of variety to the rooms. The models are of varying experience but always very patient! and accommodating and have all been great to talk to and shoot. There is a good turn out of photographers, and I've found most are very considerate of the other photographers that may be in the same room and there is a lovely friendly atmosphere between us all. A bit of fun banter, easy to talk to and helpful. Overall I can't ask for more to practice and learn. A warm welcome on arrival as you are booked in, tea and coffee provided, access to other areas of the building, and great people all around.
