Had my hot water cylinder fail and Dixons was the one that came through with the most reasonable quote (Billy was the only one of 3 plumbers who quoted and listened to me that 4 weeks before Christmas, I didn't want the "Rolls Royce" of cylinders, but a good middle of the road one), combined with turning up on time and answering emails and calls quickly. Put together with all the positive reviews, I felt comfortable that they'd do a good job. I did ask about the cylinder make and model and did my own research that confirmed that he was quoting with a decent cylinder.On the day they turned up on time, were tidy and quick. Billy performed an annual service on our old Baxi boiler. His keen eye found a hole in the side which meant that deadly carbon monoxide gases were escaping into the air. Billy advised that the boiler could no longer be used, so swiftly decommissioned the old boiler and capped the gas to make things safe for our family. Very grateful for his professional service. What do you do when your power shower stops working? Its the shower that kick starts me in the morning, so now the day would be blighted.
