Anna and her team are amazing. Right from the start, getting in touch and the communication was outstanding. I always received a response to all my questions promptly. The food was even better than expected, and our guests were gushing over the food quality and taste as well. The mushroom soup was exceptional, the stuffed hen was tender and flavorful. We had Anna cater our elopement this October and the whole experience was excellent. She was very easy to work with when setting up our menu and the food itself was very good. We ended up getting the beef tenderloin, salmon and she prepared a special meal for the children as well. Everyone was thrilled with the food and the presentation was beautiful. Upon our initial catering inquiry until the end of our client event on October 15, our team had a great experience. All our questions and concerns were addressed in a timely manner. On the day of our event, Monika and Carter arrived on time, with their smiles and positive attitudes in tow and immediately began setting up to welcome our guests. Unfortunately did not have a good experience with the Bohemian Caterer. We booked them for a Bachelorette Party weekend to be catered on the Saturday, making sure it was booked by emailing that everything was set the week before and received confirmation from the owner that it was. On the night we called the owner as no one had shown up at the confirmed time yet, what started off as a very rude and annoyed encounter from her as she was adamant that it was booked for the Sunday night but in fact realized it was not (from confirmation emails and invoice) and said she was unable to come that night as she had "another party" to attend to and blamed this on the administration employee for the mess up. This alone showed how unorganized the company was when this was booked MONTHS in advance. This became a huge inconvenience for us as it was planned as a theme party for the Saturday night and we had to make other arrangements. They ended up coming on the Sunday night which was not ideal as most of the girls were leaving. Not only did they not come on the booked night but truthfully the food was not the best for what the price was. It was pre made before and then warmed up, when you think of a "caterer" you think that all food will be freshly made and prepared right there. Also when finishing our dinner the employees asked if we wanted them to clean up or just leave it for us to deal with.... again hiring a catering company you would think that this would ALL be taken care of especially the amount of money they charge per person. It was extremely disappointing and the one thing I will say that was positive is that we of course complained about this and we received half of our $$ back. But again, this should have not been the case and it was unfortunate that this happened as it put some what of a disappointment on the night that we thought was perfectly planned far in advance. If wanting to book any type of caterer up in cottage country i would look around for more options but hopefully they have learned from this and it will not happen to any future customers. More...

Monica’s first friendly email to me was the reason I chose the Bohemian Caterers. She always welcomed my questions and gave me clear and accurate responses by email and phone. On the day of the dinner, Patricia and Anna arrived smiling, on time and ready to go. The meal was delicious and the charcuterie board was gorgeous. All 18 of my Thanksgiving guests had a wonderful time as did I, knowing that all was taken care of. The Bohemian Caterer is a hidden gem. I think not enough people know about her and her talent because she is AMAZING. Cannot sing her praises enough and my wedding guests still rave about the dinner. There's nothing worse than going to a wedding where the food is not great, but if you choose her to cater your event that will not happen. This food is incredible. And not just that she pulled off a wedding that went from 25 up to 80 people in a week because of covid reopening, she did it in a public park with virtually no resources and she spun out a restaurant quality meal served in style. All guests were wowed by sight, taste and and smell. Absolutely would use her again. On top of it she was incredibly patient with me, very energetic, and so accomodating and wanting to get the meal just right, something I would be thrilled with in spite of the circumstances where she had to cook and prepare. We used Bohemian Caterer for our 95 person wedding hosted on our property in July 2022. Starting with the positives. We had beautiful family style boards and the food was VERY delicious, we received many compliments from guests. The serving staff were friendly during dinner service. One server saved the day and helped a guest clean their shirt after someone spilled wine on them - above and beyond. It was a great meal experience overall. A few points to consider: 1) food quantity was lower than expected. Our guests had to request more food during dinner and our cocktail charcuterie board was finished quickly. We were told during planning to expect large quantities of food being replenished and so were a bit surprised by this given the cost. 2) Staff are kind but communication throughout the planning process was quite challenging. Our menu wasn’t confirmed until weeks before our wedding and it was difficult to get a timely reply. Details were dropped along the way and this added stress to our planning. 3) Organization leading up to and on the day could be improved. There were not enough staff on site and our day of coordinator had to step in an help with their duties. Overall we really enjoyed our dinner and our guests did as well, however this caterer may be better suited for a smaller wedding while they build up their business. More...

Anna served our 60-person wedding at our family cottage, and it was way better than we ever could have imagined! Her team was incredible - they adapted to our unique set-up and went above and beyond to accommodate our guests with some unexpected on the spot requests. Most importantly, the food was phenomenal. Words cannot express the great of service, food and kindness we received from The Bohemian Caterer. Anna was hired to create food boards for my wife's surprise birthday party. Her and her sister arrived and worked so hard to set up the food boards...everything tasted FANTASTIC...everyone at the party of 30 adults provided nothing but compliments, and it truly made the event special for my wife. She was able to pull off cooking for this many people in a rather small kitchen cottage, and left the place cleaner than when she arrived. I can"t say enough about our experience this past weekend. We had a gourmet luncheon/picnic for 8 with dappled sunshine under the trees, looking out over Millford Bay on Lake Muskoka. The food and presentation were amazing.... beautiful to look at, and delicious to eat. Our guests were blown away. Anna of The Bohemian Caterer put on a amazing fare for a recent summer cocktail we had for 100 people. The food was divine from the beautiful assortment and presentation of cheese and fruit, to the skewered Caprese salad and the yummy pork sliders.
