The Bluffs on Broadway is a private mansion overlooking the Mississippi River in St Louis, MO. It's located on the Mississippi River Bluffs seven stories above the river with magnificent views of the river. The house is set among an acre and a half botanical gardens with flowering trees and a waterfall, eclectic art and sculptures as well as many other picturesque settings for your wedding or event photos.

We rented the Bluffs on Broadway for our daughters wedding/reception of about 70 people. It was the perfect venue for us. Mark Widmann, the owner, gave us a great tour of the venue, and our daughter and fiancé quickly decided it was the place for them . The venue itself is rather unique, not your traditional wedding/reception venue. The Bluffs is a three story house/mansion with beautiful views of the Mississippi River. There is modern, bright, artwork throughout the house that is both interesting and eclectic. The outside deck area was fabulous, and the landscaping gorgeous. Our daughter chose to get married on the balcony overlooking the bluffs of the Mississippi river and it was perfect. For the reception, there were indoor and outdoor seating options, and people could decide where they were most comfortable dining. The food was catered by Gregory's Creative Cuisine and was amazing. They work very well with Mark's staff to make everything perfect. Mark and his staff worked tirelessly to ensure every detail of the night was taken care of, and there was nothing that I needed to do other than to show up. The Bluffs on Broadway was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The house is gorgeous with a unique blend of artwork, color, and interior design. We had an outside wedding overlooking the river which created a beautiful ambiance to our day. Mark Widmann, the owner, was available to us answering questions via email, phone, or meeting us in-person. He and his staff ensured all details were running smooth from the first time we met until the end of the wedding day. Our guests commented that it was the "best food they ever had" and "the most beautiful day/venue". I couldn't have asked for a better location. It provided everything we were looking for and much more. I highly recommend the Bluffs if you're wanting an inside or outside event, intimate/private sit down dinner or large buffet, day or night wedding and reception. We had our wedding at the Bluffs October 6th 2018.
We met with Mark in October the previous year and as soon as I walked in I knew we wanted it for our venue.
We had our ceremony and reception here and the day was perfect. Mark was outstanding through the entire process and he was always quick to respond to all of our questions and concerns. He made sure the day of would run smoothly and we wouldn't have to stress or worry. Everyone who came had the BEST time and we received so many compliments on how cool and unique the venue was. Even our photographer told us he had never been to a wedding like ours, being so relaxed and just like a big house party, and the photography team had the best time too. Marks staff was exceptional, and the two bartenders were OUTSTANDING! We had 140 guests, and fit everyone perfectly! There is so much to do and see - the indoor outdoor reception was amazing. My husband and I want to come back to the Bluffs again -trying to find a reason to have another event there. I 100% recommend the Bluffs on Broadway for a wedding or ANY event. It was the best day of our lives and if you want a fun unique place to get married, than look no further.

There's a really nice atmosphere when you walk in. Cool pop art throughout. A great view of the Mississippi river, since the private mansion is located right off the bank of the river. There are three levels to this beautiful house, which can be rented for special occasions and/ or a romantic night with your mate. I can't begin to thank Mark and his staff enough for making my wedding day such a beautiful and memorable experience. Everything went off so smoothly, that I was actually able to enjoy my wedding and visit with my guests free from stress and worry. Friends and family were absolutely blown away by every aspect of the entire experience. The food was delicious and thanks to all of their efforts and handling of every detail, I was actually relaxed enough to eat.The house was the perfect location for my friends to dance on the lower level and my grandparents and older relatives to visit on the upper level while enjoying a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River.I just returned from my honeymoon today and saw our photos for the first time. The Bluffs on Broadway genuinely exceeded our expectations. This venue is beautiful and offers an endless array of interesting landscaping, art, stunning view on the Mississippi River, and intriguing stories behind each element. All of our guests enjoyed themselves and have since shared their favorite remembrances of this experience.We chose The Bluffs on Broadway for our wedding ceremony as it offers everything in one location. Mark Widmann has created a space that is attractive inside and out. You will find convenient parking, guest reception, multiple options for ceremony setups, excellent menu options, dance floor, and a pleasurable staff. We were pleased to see all of this at reasonable rates.During our meetings to plan our event Mark listened to us and offered suggestions to our ideas and requests. While we were focused on the details of our wedding it became apparent that we underestimated a few things when the actual day arrived. Mark stepped in to ensure our day proceeded flawlessly. Mark’s knowledge, experience, and friendly personality quickly set our minds at ease when the unexpected arose. An extra guest arrived, no problem. We did not rehearse yet Mark directed the wedding party from two locations as if we practiced in advance. When the children finished dinner and activities we prepared for them, Mark lead them downstairs to allow some extra time for the adults. Our photographer was allowed everywhere to capture this unique setting in addition to the ceremony. While The Bluffs on Broadway is a business and you sign a contract, our interactions are best described as a partnership and more importantly the feeling of a friendship. Every year we look for creative meeting space that inspires us to look at Innovation differently. The Bluffs fulfilled all of our needs. The meeting and eating space was great and Mark and his staff were top notch. They were incredibly attentive to all of our needs. The food that the chef prepared was fantastic. The Bluffs on Broadway is an outstanding venue. For any one who wants to create a memorable event....I highly recommend the Bluffs on Broadway. Mark and Team can accommodate any event from weddings, parties or corporate functions. Mark is a perfectionist and personally manages every detail. He is "hands on" and does not hesitate "rolling up his sleeves" to ensure the events are spectacular. The food was excellent and very tasty. Many of my guests commented that it was one of "the best dinners they ever had". The home and surrounding grounds are spectacular. It's never easy giving your daughter's hand in marriage, but when that day comes, you want it to be special. I have no doubt that my daughter had the most beautiful day possible by having her wedding at The Bluffs On Broadway. This was an amazing setting on the bluffs of the Mississippi River. The view of the river was striking and there was beauty everywhere you looked in the gardens surrounding the house. The house itself is unbelievable and has the perfect layout for guests to mingle, dance, eat, and celebrate. The lower level and patios were alive with music and dancing while the upper level and decks provided an area to eat with more intimate settings for friends and relatives to catch up and visit.The food was incredible too. My guests went on and on about how delicious it was and how accommodating the entire staff was. Mark and his staff had a solution for every mistake we had made in planning or lack of planning. They made what could have been a very stressful day with a wedding party of 20, families that hadn't met, and difficult relatives into a joyous event. I am so thankful for all they did.
