An absolutely stunning Art Deco Ballroom, available to hire for pretty much any occasion. Private spaces are available for smaller parties and the whole venue is available to be hired Wet or Dry. Personally I prefer the Dry Hire option for my events, as it means I can bring my own beverages and catering. Yes, this means I have to leave the venue in exactly the same state I received it in (rubbish cleaned out etc..) as clearly stated in the contract, but provides much better value for me as I have access to staff and catering. For those that are not in the events business I would suggest going for the Wet Hire option as the event logistics will be time consuming and quite costly without the required trade contacts. More...

Been there in 2010 to take photos in London premier Indian fashion week. Among many great fashion designers one was my favourite "Arnab Sen Gupta".

A nice place with very good acoustics. Well decorated to aid the atmosphere plus friendly service at the bar.
The only issue that we had was actually finding it even when we were in the right building. A few signs could come in handy.

I was at the IPA Best of Health Awards on Tuesday. Award night's are usually special this was was no exception I think the food should've been given an award too. The fish starter was superb, beautifully presented beautifully very spicy For the main course I had the vegetarian option of soft warm goats cheese perfectly wrapped in pastry.followed by a kind of Pavlovian dream in a glass with the most delicate sweet biscuits yes I enjoyed my food... Fab Dj great dance floor Thank you Chef and staff. Congratulations to all the winners of table 9 fabulous evening. More...

The venue is great for large events and conference setups due to the extensive size on offer to clients. I have visited here a number of times to cover events and have always found the management and support staff to be exceptionally detailed, professional and friendly. I have seen the venue in many different dress up from experiential themes from 1960s to enchanted forest to modern festival look.Strongly recommended for any setups from 500+ attendance More...

Donning full white tie for the Belle Epoque/ Torture Garden Dark Circus I was surprised and pleased to find this beautiful art deco venue just next to Sicilian Avenue and opposite Bloomsbury Square Gardens. Of course I fit in perfectly with a gaggle of corseted girls on my arm in such a fine building. The event itself was wonderful with only slightly overpriced drinks letting the place down. There were two main rooms; one quiet, relaxed with tabes, soft jazzy music and candlelight, the other, a small to medium ballroom with hoop aerialists, fire breathers and pole dancers. Wonderfully decadent and more Belle Epoque (a cabaret/20s night) than Torture Garden (a kink night) making it quite accessible. Some of the people had beautiful costumes and everyone was very friendly. All in all an excellent night in a place I hope has more events. More...

Great live event venue. I did the after party shots here for a London Fashion Week show. The staff are very patient and attentive, the security staff polite and easy going. The interior of both the ballroom and the bar are superb. If you have a VERY big party or a small concert to organise you can't go wrong here. More...

Have been here for a few gigs now..Florence and the Machine and Ash amongst others and the venue is beautiful. Staff are lovely and nothing is overpriced. I know that this isn't the usual venue for this sort of thing, but it was such a beautiful room that you felt you were somewhere a bit special and it added to the experience More...

The Bloomsbury Ballroom is situated in Victoria House close to Holburn tube station. It's a very beautiful art deco building and is just as impressive inside as it is outside. I was here once for a private party and had the one of the best nights ever. The atmosphere was one of fun and excitement and despite the surroundings was not pretentious at all. The main room has a wooden floor and a big stage. The toilets are beautiful, white butcher tiles on the walls and green velvet chairs so you can sit down and have a chat with your pals whilst powering your nose. More...

The most grand, stunning venue I have ever been to a gig in. The Bloomsbury Ballrooms are spectacular from the grand exterior to the art deco ballroom itself which is available for private hire for parties, dinners, exhibitions and concerts. My experience of The Bloomsbury Ballrooms was going to see a night of bands including the Mystery Jets playing. The night was amazing ad the venue made the music even more impressive. Unlike most dirty, sticky floored, foul smelling music venues that you have to enter in order to see your favourite bands play, Bloomsbury Ballrooms are perfectly kept, clean stylish and sophisticated.
