Great place with lots of events happening, from bingo and Elvis party nights, to live music and family fun days. Really good if you are into your live sport as they show all the big events across multiple screens. Fantastic time had at The Black Bull over the weekend. The place was mobbed, which really added to the atmosphere, yet the staff coped brilliantly so you didn't have too wait long for a drink. Great live sport venue with both the rugby and football shown on big screens. More...

Rachel and team have really turned this place around and improved the pub no end. Still a few too many oiks but that is certainly improving. Parking is still a nightmare.

We had our wedding reception here recently and we couldn't have been happier with all the staff at The Black Bull. The landlady was amazing from start to finish and went above and beyond to make our day go smoothly. can't thank Rachel and her team enough we have had two big celebrations held at her pub in the last 2 months 1 a wedding where we had a lovely sit down roast dinner and puddings Rachel went out of her way to decorate the pub and make us feel welcome and all our guests and also held a wake for dearly beloved uncle this week again top notch food really went out of their way brilliant staff everybody's friendly food was lovely would recommend this pub highly.

Massive thank you to Rachel and her staff for the great party for our daughter last night. We all had such a great time. From start to finish everything was fab! Buffet was delicious and such good value for money. Staff were friendly and so helpful and the atmosphere is so relaxed it’s hard not to enjoy yourself.
