Marios and his team were amazing! All our guests (including our Cypriot attendees) said the menu provided was both delicious, traditional and filling. The various meat dishes were perfectly made with plenty to go round for the 90 guests we had invited. The menu was varied (alternatives were available for those that didn't want souvlaki as their main and even 2 of our vegan friends were accomodated!). Thank you for being so wonderfully friendly and being so flexible with our changing numbers/requirements on the day. It's not often you can find a caterer that's accommodating and able to adapt to a change in planning on the day. Marios was more than happy to tailor his service for us, was friendly, amicable and keen to ensure we were both happy with the service of the Big Fat Greek BBQ company and to the satsfaction of our invited guests. When my wife and I decided we wanted to have barbecue catering for our wedding, we really weren't sure what we were going to get, but we were honestly so lucky to find The Big Fat Greek BBQ CompanyFrom the very beginning, Mario was incredibly responsive and communicative. He answered any and all of our questions and set up a tasting on our request.Between the tasting and the wedding, Mario was again incredible, answering all my random questions promptly. And when the big day arrived, I have to admit, my wife and I were just as excited about eating some delicious barbecue as we were about getting married! The Big Fat Greek BBQ Company brought their own linens, chafing dishes, tables, and serving utensils, as well as plates and cutlery. Their set-up was beautiful and professional and the staff to man the buffet line were courteous and friendly! Our chosen menu was absolutely amazing and our guests positively raved about both the food and the service.I honestly can not praise the guys here enough. We used The Big Fat Greek BBQ Company to cater for my daughters 21st birthday party on Saturday 9th March 2019 (120 guests). The food was superbly cooked to perfection and the staff were very friendly. As you can imagine, not all guests arrived at the same time, and whilst this would obviously add another variable and present some challenges for the catering team, given our remit, Mario and his team made relevant adjustments to accommodate the situation without a gripe! He and his crew came on time, and ensured that food kept coming off of the grills throughout the evening until everyone had eatenEveryone commented on how great the food was and I would highly recommended and would this outfit again at the first available opportunity. From the very beginning, Mario was incredibly responsive and communicative. He answered any and all of our questions and set up a tasting on our request.

These guys certainly set the standard when it comes to BBQs. Excellent food, great service. I will be certainly using again.

i wish i could provide no stars instead of 1. Turned up 1 hour late and broke down on our driveway - we had to sort out AA to come and fix his van.

Agreed he would provide x3 greek dips, chicken and pork kebab, greek salad, loutnza, halloumi, chips, greek sausages, tea coffee and greek desert dish of louakamades - the main reason I booked him. He only made chicken and pork kebabs and halloumi in very very small quantities and nothing else! Hardly any of our guests ate.

When we complained and refused to pay the full amount (we paid over 70% deposit) he sent us abusive message saying he knows many people in our area and he was blacklisting us - as if we would ever use him again! Apparently he is also blacklisting anyone connected to us after he told a family member who sorted out the AA for him he would provide some catering for him as a Thank You. May I note there is no way the family member would even want to use him but just shows what an awful man and service this was. Ruined my husbands 40th.

Also asked me on the phone when booking him if it was Greek people as he was suggesting they are fussy - bcos they know greek food. Please dont waste your money on this caterer. Worse food (not that we saw much of it) and service I have ever received, More...
