We purchased this table in May2021. It looked beautiful initially. We purchased a high quality made to measure bespoke cover for it and protected it for all winter. Despite that once we removed the cover after the winter we found the planks had warped, separated and split extensively. It leeched resin and the paint deteriorated very badly. Even worse between the separated planks there is absolutely none of the washed grey paint as clearly it was a cheap finish rather than proper treatment of each plank - as a result each plank now has drips of grey paint and untreated wood fully visible. Overall the table is a massive disappointment and looks awful. We did contact the vendors - their initial response was not helpful. We sent a further email several months ago with photos but got no response at all. We would definitely not recommend this product. More...

How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Is it liable for a permitted development? If so, no issue at all, if it’s a stand alone then they may need to apply for planning. The build process you would want to ensure a damp roof course, enough insulation and fire exits etc.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Ensuring there’s a DPC membrane or some form of damp proofing. May need to add vast insulation if it’s only a single skin, whilst maintaining air flow. Good care taken to internal walls and perhaps strengthen the floor or level it.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
High enough roof. Floor joists strong enough or need to replace internal ceiling. Strong enough roof to support rooflighfs etc.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Strengthen floor joists or add new to requirements. Add insulation 100mm cellotex. Double strengthen joists around skylights. Fully board and plaster internally.
How long have you been in business?
We’ve been in business as a limited company for over 2 years now but as a sole trader for a few years prior to that too. Combined between the 6 of us, we’ve got over 40 years Carpentry and Building experience.
What guarantee does your work come with?
5 year guarantee on most works, and 10 year guarantee on most furniture. Ask for details.
What do you love most about your job?
Making bespoke items of furniture mainly, we love creating pieces from old reclaimed timber. Restoring old and turning into something new for someone will always be satisfying!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Self drive and determination to shake up the industry a little. I found working for people slow and wanted more. We love the speed at which we work whilst still focusing on the ultimate end goal which is to give our clients the highest quality pieces and works that we’re capable of
