Very friendly and welcoming. Not just the staff but the locals too. Menu read well and I really wanted the burger so I ordered what sounded like a lighter, smaller portion: the smoked salmon and prawn salad. Don't be misled, it was a very generous starter. Luckily I just had room for the burger, which is also generously sized. My fiancée made the mistake of ordering a side of garlic mushrooms to follow the crispy duck salad and to accompany scampi and chips. Three halves of giant portabello mushrooms appeared!
