Not the first time I've been here and it won't be the last. Food is great value and I loved the Minty lamb burger that I've just had. Staff are attentive and friendly. Thanks. More...

An amazing place, staff goes extra lengths to accomodate guests, food is amazing, Guinness is perfect, rooms are amazing, large, comfortable, everything is stylish, luxurious and classic at the same time. All that while prices being very modest for this kind of quality experience. One of the best places I have ever visited. More...

Great food provided for a group of forty people with slick service from the staff that ensured minimal wait for food and drinks. Fishcake starters were served with a poached egg that was perfectly cooked for the ten or so of us that ordered it which is no mean feat for that many. Local beer excellently kept and goid wine menu. Recommended. More...

Beautiful hotel, and we stayed in a great, spacious executive room. We received a really friendly welcome when my husband and I stayed with our Staffy. The staff were all very helpful and it was so lovely to stay in such a great hotel that was so dog friendly. The food was excellent and the great selection of whiskey at the bar was well utilised by my husband. Will definitely stay again! More...

The menu is gorgeous, a lot of choice for every taste. I had the pork belly and it was just amazing. I ordered the cheeseboard for dessert which was a very generous selection of cheeses, butter, crackers, chutney, grapes and celery. A perfect way to end the meal. The staff were all very friendly and the service was fast. The only negative was one of the main meals were brought out wrong but the staff quickly apologized and corrected the error. More...

A beautiful pub with excellent food and service. Caters brilliantly for those with serious food allergies. The rooms are lovely, clean and well presented. Can't wait to go back again.

Everything was great. Good food and friendly staff. We did feel however that the service was very rushed. We were asked for drinks before we had even properly sat down. This would have been absolutely fine as prompt drinks are not a bad thing. But coupled with our mains coming out before our starter plates had been cleared made it feel very rushed. We have had lovely meals here before and couldnt fault anything else but I eat out for a treat or event so making the experience feel special is important. This felt a bit more like a very tasty meal but just another meal rather than somewhere to go for something a bit special More...

Been here a few times, the food is always really good but the service can sometimes be slow. Everyone has always been really friendly and the place looks nice too. I'll still keep going there because I've never had a bad meal. More...

Reliably very good food (the pies have pastry on the bottom as well as the top!), they have plenty of restaurant space and can fit in large or small parties. Decent beer/wine choice and usually a nice fire burning in the bar area, this is a great country pub with lots of character and a firm favourite of ours. I can't comment on the hotel as its local and we've never stayed there. It's part of the same chain as the Fishpool up near Delamere. More...

The food here is always great. It's delicious, fresh, very generous portions and very reasonably priced. Been a few times now never left anything other then stuffed. The restaurant is so cosy and a very nice place to be. The staff are also always very friendly, smiley and helpful. Cant recommend enough. More...

Great little pub. Great selection of beers. A little remote but if you're in the area, or plan this as a destination it's well worth a visit.

Reliably good food and decent service. I've never stayed here, only eaten here but it is one of our favourite places to eat out near Sandbach. NB there is free Wi-Fi but very little in the way of phone service. More...

Very tastefully decorated and good sizes rooms. Would have given 5 stars but we booked 5 rooms and something wasn't working in each one e. g. faulty hairdryer light bulbs out etc. Food is exceptional with great flavours and good quality. Excellent beers and wines. Service was a bit slow but overall a good experience which with a little effort could become a great one. More...

Visited about a month and a half ago, everything about The Bear's Paw is excellent, the food, the staff and the atmosphere. A lady called Paula looked after us and she was lovely. She didn't even mind when we played a game of music chairs, I was like Goldilocks trying to find the perfect chair to sit in. It's just a lovely place to be. We've already booked to visit again, cannot wait. More...

The Bears Paw went above and beyond expectations. We attended a friends wedding there over the weekend and were so impressed with the level of dedication from the staff. The dinner served was fantastic- preordered and came out in a timely manner. We also stayed the night in one of their executive rooms and it was gorgeous. Room decor is modern yet suits the feel of the hotel and it has all the amenities you should need for an overnight visit. The staff were incredible. I'm not sure I've ever come across such dedication to ensuring the guest is getting the most out of the experience. All in all a great place to stay and we definitely plan to be back. More...

Really nice warm and welcoming atmosphere. Very dog friendly, he was immediately given bowl of water and biscuit. The food was very good except for the lamb chops which were very tough. When we complained, we were asked if they could get something else. When we declined as it was towards the end of the meal, we were given some money off the bill. A really first class service, highly recommended. More...

We've eaten here a few times before and always thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This time was slightly different. We had to ask several times for crayons for my toddler. When the meals came they didn't seem as filling as they had been previously. Pricey for what you get however we knew this from prior visits but the surroundings are beautiful. The ambiance is superb. Service was good however there was a lot of staff hanging around. We probably will be back to give the place another try however I probably would try something different from the veggie burger I chose this time as it was dry and tasteless. My husband left hungry which was a disappointment. More...
