Just back from a three night stay here, having traveled over from Ireland for a reunion. Very welcoming hotel, all front desk, housekeeping and bar and breakfast staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Beautiful bar area with lovely open fire and relaxing chairs set the scene for a lovely meeting area. Room was clean and airy with good shower and a bath which is always a plus for me when travelling. Breakfast was amazing and they didn't complain when, on one of the mornings we sat over breakfast for a good two hours as there was quite a few of us and lots to catch up on. Location is wonderful, very close 5 minute walk from Ruislip station and a nice 10 minute stroll from Ruislip High Street. They were good enough to let me have an extra bit of time in my room as I had a late afternoon flight and when I did check out, they stored my luggage until I was ready to leave. These things are always noticed as going that little bit extra to make a stay a more memorable one! Well done all at the Barn, I would have no hesitation in recommending your Hotel to fellow travelers and would hope to return to stay in the not so distant future! :) More...

Service is exceptional a real credit to all the staff I have encountered. I had a little bit of a mixup with my reservation and the receptionist sorted it for me straight away with no problems. The rooms are very clean and smell fresh when you enter them. The rooms are a bit dated but comfortable and the bathroom is modern. As for the food I had the privilege and trying most things because of the length of my stay and everything was exceptional, the food is very very good. All round good experience well worth the price. Attended a private function for which the hotel catered extremely well. The ongoing drinks service and the replenishment of the dishes was very good. In turn the (cold) food was very tasty, tastefully served as a buffet and varied to suit all tastes. Desserts were similarly varied, I think, as I did not participate and plentiful coffee followed. My daughter and I stayed here overnight before a university open day in London. I only found this hotel when looking at the Ruislip Station website and am so glad I booked it! Rooms are fantastic, we didn't get allocated one in the swish looking new block, but the mews style room we did get was lovely, with the well kept garden right outside. We ate in the bar and my one gripe is that meals are rather pricey although good. Breakfast the next morning was world class though with proper service and a wide choice of individually cooked dishes and excellent value. Oh and all the staff were delightful too, so friendly and helpful. It would be brilliant if they could do some limited airport parking, as there are a lot of parking spaces - free overnight, also fantastic. And the station is literally two minutes away. A real gem. My parents had their 60th Wedding Anniversary here a couple of weeks ago and they were really happy with the service that The Barn Hotel provided. ||The staff worked really hard and double checked with them throughout the evening the timings of everything. We had lots of comments from our family and friends as to how lovely the food was and all variations of diets were catered for and clearly marked. The main part of the venue is very old with lots of character but well maintained.||The guests who stayed at the Hotel stated how spacious and clean the rooms were and that they really enjoyed their stay.||Thank you for making the evening go so smoothly. First, but certainly not last, time in this hotel. Executive suite is brilliant, jacuzzi bath with TV, super clean, great beds and amenities, new building behind the adorable 16th century facade and surrounded by lovely gardens. Staff and service above and beyond, made me feel very welcome. Really excellent all around. Great location, 2 minutes from Ruislip Station, lovely High Street too, and overall a terrific experience. Great food, proper High Tea in afternoon and excellent meals. Can't wait to return when in London again, close enough to the city and Heathrow, yet, at night, in the garden you can see the stars, rare in London! Absolutely recommend More...

Das Barn Hotel macht seinem Namen alle Ehre und befindet sich offensichtlich in einem umgebauten landwirtschaftlichen Gebäude. Das Hauptgebäude mit Reception und Restaurant hat sehr viel britische Atmosphäre zu bieten. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sehr gemütlich. Leider zeigt das Bad etwas "Renovierungsstau". Allerdings ist alles sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte geschäftlich in der Nähe zu tun ; es war perfekt. Bis zur Stadtmitte London ist es aber noch ein gutes Stück Weg. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind aber in der Nähe. Celebrating my fathers 90th birthday with Sunday lunch. On a roundabout so be careful|When entering he drive. Man all carpark at the front with disabled parking and more spaces at the back. Dark entry hall with comfortable chairs and through to a hall then onwards to the bar area and toilets. (Immaculate). Restaurant brown wood panels with high ceiling. Good choice on menus with @ 4 starts , 4 mains and 4 deserts. All food was lovely tasting and large portions so if elderly or minimal appetite then order a small portion. Attentive service. Very pleasant. Room was small and a bit cramped bit very clean . Bed was comfy shower could have done with more pressure , but again was clean . Hotel main areas were charming and attractive. The allocated room was a fabulous feature room full of quirks. The staff were polite and friendly.The only downside was the quality of breakfast, purely due to items such as the bacon and poached eggs being over cooked and rubbery, and the mushrooms tasting like were cooked in vinegar.

Stayed at the Barn Hotel on 13/08/19 for two nights, all the staff were very friendly, the room was spotless and they gave attention to detail, lovely hotel, the only thing that let it down slightly was the breakfast, bit slow to be served and the food was very average, all in all a great place and good value for money 4.5 star's
