My husband & I were eating dinner at Texas Roadhouse one evening about a couple of months ago. We noticed a b8g family celebrating their grandfather's birthday across from us. This is a great bakery. I love the pastries offered including real fruit muffins, flaky pastries, and great cookies and cakes. Also, beautiful wedding cakes. Staff and owner are friendly. This is by far my favorite local bakery shop. Not only are the pastries more than amazing, the employees are by far some of the greatest customer support personnel I have ever met. My church works with this team every week so that we may have some sweets for our coffee shop in our church. And this group of individuals bends over backwards to make sure we are accommodated. If you need bakery items definitely give these guys a try. All homemade and fresh daily. The Bakery Shoppe baked my wedding cake on Thanksgiving day and it was FANTASTIC. The cake is one of their classic with white chocolate swirls all over, many tiers and delicious layers - different in each.
The shoppetook on this grand task on a family holiday, and I appreciated every ounce of it! Filled with loved and kindness! THANK YOU!

I have been driving by this Bakery for years and regret now for never stopping in. I dropped in after being referred and that bakery smell. ... wow. I tried their cheese danish and the immediate memories of my childhood bakery came alive. Great place, great variety, and the flavors and freshness cannot be challenged. CORRECTION!!!!. My previous review for "The Bakery Shoppe" was for a place called The Bakery in Davidson, 10 miles away. This Bakery Shoppe is the real deal for a small local bakery. I stop in regularly, and they have a great selection of muffins and Danish. Always fresh, and great complex tastes. The muffins are my fave-- especially the Morning glory, stuffed with nuts and fruits in a delicious whole grain cake. Hard to do better than this.
