We used the Alley for catering for the first time this past weekend. We love their restaurant so we were excited to have them cater a 50th wedding anniversary party. Shawn gave many suggestions on the menu selections which made those decisions so much easier. Their staff arrived right on time and worked together to help make the party a truly enjoyable event. Sheridan and Sam worked so hard and were absolutely wonderful to our guests. All of the guests commented on how much they loved the food. Got the NY strip and green beans. The steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it and was very good. The green beans were cooked with what tasted like Rotel tomatos, it gave a different flavor but was still good none the less.

Service was fast and therawal even though they were packed and for good reason. The Italian food was superb! Not a lot of gaudy retro decor cluttering up the place so millennials probably won't like it. What a delightful night! This was my first time visiting The Alley on Main, and I have only good things to say. Service: Outstanding! Our server, Donovan, took great care of us and truly seems to love his job. Knowledgeable about the menu and enthusiastic! He made our night with his silly magic trick! Food: Hot and delicious! I enjoyed the fried catfish and fries. It was a generous portion and came with a good sized salad as well. The blackberry cobbler was more of a cake consistency, but it was lovely with a scoop of ice cream. Atmosphere: Attractively old-fashioned! Inside was small, but they had some lights around the columns that made it feel warm and inviting. The Alley on Main is located in quaint downtown Murfreesboro. I had the U-10 sea scallops with a side of green beans and my S.O. Had the burger of the day with the Brussels sprouts.My sea scallops with green beans was phenomenal. The sea scallops were seared perfectly, and seasoned  very well and fairly big!My green beans were perfect in the temp and seasoned with a little tiny bit of a kick! My S.O. Burger was made to medium, and beyond delicious! Had a great visit to the Alley last night as we were passing through Murfreesboro! Decided to skip waiting for a table and had dinner at the bar with fantastic service from Sabrina and Savannah.
