Our old aircon system at home packed up and I contacted a local company who charged us us £125 to visit and told us we needed a new unit and quoted us £2360) A friend who has a service contract with The Air Conditioning Company for their shops asked them to visit us to see if they could help. They came the next day and fixed the unit in less than an hour and regassed it. They charged £95 plus VAT (and my friend paid the bill! Works better and is colder than it ever was. Magic!
