The Age Coach is here to help you Age with Grace. My name is Kevin Suttmoeller and I am dedicated to assisting people of all ages and skill levels to live a healthy lifestyle. It is of my opinion that when you include fitness, strength, mobility, balance, and nutrition into your daily life, then it is very much within your ability to live a long, strong, vibrant life filled with happiness. There is so much information on fitness out there and we aim to sort it out so you don't have to. As a trainer, coach, gym owner (CrossFit Redding 2008-13’, Balance Point Fitness 2013-18’), and certified massage therapist since 2005, I have assisted over a thousand clients realize the value and importance of living a healthy fitness based lifestyle. This includes children, all levels of athletes including those at the Olympic level, as well as adults and seniors aging into their 90's. As a life long BMX racing athlete, I was also fortunate to serve on the USA Cycling Olympic BMX program from 2007-2012 as massage therapist (soigneur). I turned 51 years old in 2017 and have enough years behind me to realize that the aging process is VERY real and it takes wisdom to age wisely. It is my passion to teach people (of all ages) that you have great power within you to reclaim and maintain your health and fitness. Please let me assist you along the path of aging and be your coach in achieving your goals.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?

My passion is to assist clients achieve their goals. Not just from a fitness perspective, but to provide a service that helps the client in becoming a better human being. I feel that happiness is acquired through multiple facets of life and NOT just what we see in the mirror physically.

What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?

Consistent commitment to a few basic principles will elicit what you want to attain. This goes for anything that you want to achieve, be it physical, mental, emotional, or financial.

What do you love most about your job?

Establishing a good working relationship between myself and my clients. The human aspect.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was in the healthcare field (homecare) for 18 years and was tired of seeing people deal with sickness and debilitating ailments. I wanted to help people be proactive with their health and by combining my background in sports and fitness, I felt I could help them lead a life that was much more healthful and full of happiness. "The healthier we are, the happier we are."

Services provided by The Age Coach

The Age Coach Services

Personal Training (Private and Semi-Private)

I work with individuals one-on-one as well as semi-private (2-3 people) to help them achieve their fitness, strength, mobility, balance, and nutrition goals.

Olympic Weightlifting and Barbell Training

There are few coaches that know how to coach people on the proper execution of the Olympic Lifts (Snatch and Clean & Jerk). Furthermore, I have vast knowledge of Barbell movements and have a great passion for teaching the nuances of this training discipline.

Stretching, Mobility, and Massage

Through many years as an athlete and being fortunate to train with high level coaches, along with being a Certified Massage Therapist since 2005, I have developed a keen understanding of the body, especially as it relates to the musculoskeletal system. There are many techniques to assist a client/athlete to enhance the ability of the human body to do all that it does.

Crossfit style functional fitness training

As a former Crossfit Gym owner (CrossFit Redding 2008-2013), I learned a great deal about coaching clients in the functional fitness model, so I feel highly qualified to help any clients become better at that type of training if that is their chosen path.
