I booked my husband a 60 minute Swedish massage as a treat at the start of our weekend break away for our anniversary and it was the best money I've ever spent. Noi is a wonderful and professional massage therapist and made my husband very comfortable, relaxed and welcome, she has an extremely warm nature. Noi, instead of the 60 minute Swedish massage spoke with my husband, assessed what would really benefit him and created a bespoke massage and combination of authentic Thai massage that made him feel like a new man. Booked a double appointment in Jan for my husband and I to get massages on 5th March. This was a surprise for my husbands 60th birthday whilst we were holidaying in the area . Noi corresponded with me back & forth confirming our appointments with her and another therapist she uses called Angela. We arrived 5 mins before our appointment to find the place in darkness and closed. On calling the business tel number I was greeted by a message saying she was on holiday until 26th March! Absolutely appalling way to run a business. A wasted day waiting around for our appointment time and a disappointed hubby losing out on a promised birthday present. How difficult is it to get in touch with clients to inform them that you can no longer provide the service they are booked in for because you are away on holiday. I love meeting people and seeing them benefit from my Traditional Thai treatments and I take pride in tailoring each session to meet their individual needs.
Many of my customers had not tried a Thai Massage before coming to me and I now have an extensive client base ranging from the entire UK and throughout the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was born and raised in northern Thailand near to the border with Cambodia where Traditional Thai Massage was part of our family culture. I trained extensively in Thailand and on moving to the UK in 2004, I set up my business, initially working from home until I opened The Thai Massage Room and Spa more than 10 years ago.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I operate with strict Covid Hygiene precautions in my massage room and personally take a Lateral Flow Test each working day. My clients are also required to take a LFT prior to their arrival for their appointment and of course this must have a negative result.

Indian Head Massage
This ancient art of massage is a relaxing holistic treatment which involves acupressure massage on 40 pressure points of the head, face, neck and shoulders, and aids the relief of chronic neck and shoulder stiffness, eye strain and headaches.

Hot Stone Therapy
This treatment uses warmed stones placed gently on the energy points of the body. The stones are then used during the oil massage providing a warm relaxing and healing experience.
The hot stones help to expand blood vessels, encouraging the blood flow throughout the body. They have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reducing stress and promoting a feeling of deep relaxation.

All massage treatments are individually tailored to meet your own personal requirements. This starts with an initial consultation to confirm your needs and to assess if you have any issues or injuries that may affect your treatment. This will then be followed by a wonderful pampering session involving the treatments of your choice, and may include the use of Herbal Balms, Oils, Compresses, Hot Stones and the revolutionary 'Wavestone’ that is made from White Jade. To end your Thai experience, you will be able to enjoy a cup of ‘Ma Tum’ tea (also known as Bael or Woodapple) made from the fruit of a native tree in Thailand and is known for its magical medicinal properties.
