Reading his plausible spiel, makes a glory out of his business. BE VERY VEY VERY SCEPTICAL.

This man used every method of avoiding a good job.
Slap dash.... devoid of every method of preparation. Avoiding clearing any mess. Even brushed muck underneath a door mat.
Paint on my curtains, carpet, brand new wood doors, broad strips across glass, light fittings and more.

THE PAINT FELL OF ON SKIRTING BOARDS WHEN THE VACUUM CLEANER RUBBED UP AGAINST THEM.
Not completed any surface. Left huge areas of ceilings untouched and door frames only one third done, walls unfinished. No preparation. No sandpaper.
Very fast on job. But disappeared even faster when his appalling work was discovered within a few days of paying him.

THE STRESS MADE ME VERY ILL.
TOO ILL TO PURSUE HIM THROUGH TRADING STANDARDS.
IT TOOK MONTHS BEFORE I PLUCKED UP COURAGE TO EMPLOY A FAR MORE CONSCIENTIOUS TRADESMAN.
It is not the greatest feeling to have been duped. It takes experience to manage choices.
Being vulnerable and bereaved and then have trust betrayed, is life crushing.

This second decorator who eventually rescued my home, was so angry when he discovered the disgusting lazy way in which the work had been carried out. He wanted to challenge him personally on my behalf.
The second decorator told me it would not have been easy for me to see through the poor quality of work at first inspection. He is not proficient decorator. Nor professional.

No receipt for the cash I gave him. I had to ask him to send one to me. I’d intended to report him to the taxman.

I have to say, I live in hope that another customer of his, who finds themselves caught out by Mr Neumann, will chase him , take him to court, report him to the taxman, and thereby ruin his chances of causing anybody the same level of distress as I have experienced. I certainly can’t risk my health again.

This has been such a costly learning curve.
