What do you love most about your job?
The creative process. Video production, whether it be for advertising or any other use, is a collaboration between expert crews, graphics specialists, performers and other key contributors. Bringing all these elements together is a creative process which energises our entire team and it's something that I personally thrive on.
What inspired you to start your own business?
TDV launched in 2014 and was a direct response to the proliferation of video advertising services that sprang up, like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. For the first time ever, any company or organisation could show the world what they were about to tens of thousands of people at the click of a mouse. That was (and still is) very exciting to us - since then we have diversified into providing internal corporate video content and TV ads too.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our founding principles are very important to us. With video, you don't know what you're going to get till you see it. You have an idea of the content but you're not sure at the start if it's going to be exactly what you want. This is why we never charge a deposit to cover production costs - we fund the production ourselves. This puts the onus on TDV to deliver on (and hopefully exceed) expectations. Also, we never charge extra for re-editing. The price agreed at the outset never goes up regardless of how long the video is in post-production. We see the clients first viewing of the video as the start of the process, not the end. We listen to the feedback and craft the end product until the customer is delighted.

From writing and concept, to full pre and post production and right up to full UK TV broadcast clearance, TDV does it all. TDV deals directly with ClearCast so when we’re done your commercial is visible and ready to roll on any of 297 UK TV channels. Our preferred agency in London will put together a TV campaign and buy your ‘TV spots’. It’s easy and not as pricey as you might imagine.
