This company decorated our newly renovated house, and did a really good job. As we aren't really up to date with current trends etc, they made suggestions on colours and decor etc - and so our home now looks really modern and is such a change from the usual magnolia or stark white walls. Allen & Taylor were recommended to me by a friend who they also did some work for. The guys were very professional and friendly from our first phone call to when they left my home and I couldn't be more happy with the work they carried out, they were very helpful and you could tell how much they take pride in their work. They decorated the whole downstairs of my house and the finish they did in the front room is even better than I could of imagined . We own Coswarth House hotel in Padstow and need every part of the hotel to look perfect. We have just refurbished a couple of the rooms as well as The Cottage that is about to become a major part of the hotel. Paul and Clive have undertaken all of the work and delivered a fantastic result. They kept us appraised of progress and issues and when we had issues they made sure they had a solution. Not only did they paint, they also papered a feature wall as well as treated a timber floor. They are also trustworthy - we left them the keys and they just got on with things. We are very particular and they masked off and covered everything and everything was spotless when they left. I had Allen and Taylor decorators working in my house in January. I asked for sash restoration work and I couldn't be more pleased with the result, I myself coming from the building trade I have to say the work was of an extremely high standard, they stripped the windows back to bare, re glazed, puttie, primed and undercoat. They were always very helpful, polite and very tidy in both work and with rubbish. I will be using them again for my other projects and my own manor house later in the year and couldn't be happier as my daughters new home will look perfect for them on arrival. Paul and Clive fully decorated the interior of our cottage in October 2015. They were very thorough in their preparation and did a most professional job for a reasonable price. They were flexible and worked around other contractors, returning to tidy up the paintwork when the other contractors had finished. They showed attention to detail - for example removing and replacing wall mirrors correctly. When we were away from the cottage they kept in touch and informed us of progress by phone and by sending photographs electronically. I would thoroughly recommend them. More...
