What’s your signature dish?
SIGNATURE!...?
One of our signature in desserts is our famous homemade BANANA ?PUDDING!.. we have many people taste it at a wedding then order pans for the holidays, family/ class reunions, church events, etc
Our signature dish is our ? Chicken / Shrimp Salad!
The chicken salad we season the chicken before it's cooked and let it marinade overnight. We do the shrimp the same way but with a different lemony/dill season.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
LISTENING!..?
It's the only way to run a business for as long as we have...the clients desire to have the perfect event. We also decide by the theme/season of the event, will be held. That makes up a huge part as well. I also ask if suggestions are needed. Whatever they decide in the end is what matters!
What do you love most about your job?
REACTIONS!...???
To see the tears from the Bride's/Clients face and the OMG s from the guest, that's what gives me the satisfaction, in 20 years, not one dissatisfied person, and that's saying a lot and that's what bring my heart JOY!.. seeing thiers!
What inspired you to start your own business?
INSPIRATION!...???
I come from a family of talented women, who have the gift of decorating and cooking. After an event we decorated/ and cooked for our church, everybody said "This was so beautiful and the food was amazing, don't waste y'all talent's!", so we didn't and I got hired for my first wedding that night, from word of mouth it grew,
TAYLOR-MADE JOY came into existence in 1996 & counting!
