This was my first time using Cel and his partner at Tax Shop.  My mom kept asking if he was a CPA, and that I "should only be going to CPAs for my taxes! "  But I've learned that CPAs charge WAY more for someone to file their taxes.  Cel and his partner did a great job of inputting my information, breaking it down into "average people terms," and submitting for refunds.  Smart, honest, quick, efficient, and very polite!The only thing I would have suggested is getting the a/c to kick on over the weekends.  I came in on a Sunday afternoon when it was surprisingly warm outside for early April and it was even warmer inside the office.  And maybe offer some cold water - even the little tiny bottles. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I've always wanted a person to help me with my taxes rather than doing it on Turbo tax and I'm glad I found Cel. He's very patient, honest, and professional to his clients. I feel comfortable asking him any questions about personal finance and anything business related, near tax season and throughout the year. Honestly, I can tell that he truly cares about his clients and want to educate them everything that his clients should know. Plus, he always has a great friendly smile! I've been going with Cel for three years now, and he's been the best. He's helped me truly understand the process of filing taxes, and after leaving his office I always know exactly where my refund comes from and why. I live in Cudahy and drive a hour every year just so that Cel can do my taxes. The only negative thing I have to say is that his office is a little hard to find, and parking is horrible. I just got back from doing my taxes with Cel today. I was freaking out because it was the last day to do it and I had forgotten. He met me literally an hour after I called and was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. He asked me lots of questions that helped maximize my return that my previous CPA never bothered to ask. He was nice, friendly, and genuine too. Overall, it was a great experience! My boyfriend and I have been to see Cel the past couple years.  He is very personable and knowledgable.  As someone who is new at this grown up thing, I am learning all my finance stuff that they didn't teach you in school.  He is very helpful and thoroughly explains how everything works.  He also gave me suggestions for the upcoming year and how I can improve my tax situation for next spring.  Visiting a second time was easy peasy because he already has much of my information.  O, and a free drink from his kitchen!
