They even have a personalized online platform where you can put in your top song requests and songs not to play! Al and his crew dramatically exceeded my expectations at our event. He deftly handled a large group of 8th graders and 80 year olds and kept them all dancing and entertained for many hours. His organization and professionalism allowed me to enjoy the event as he kept us on track with speeches, games, and transitions. Long before the event he helped us pick music that made made everyone happy from Barry Manilow for my mom to the latest hip hop and mumble rap for the kids and everything in between. After extensive research and phone interviews with multiple DJs, I happened upon Tasty Sounds Entertainment through a recommendation of another DJ. After speaking with Al on the phone, I knew he was our DJ. We wanted music that our guests (of all generations) could enjoy and dance to. But as a husband and wife that are more into alternative & metal, we weren't sure how he was going to incorporate our style in the playlist. When I tell you that Tasty Sounds delivered, they DELIVERED! Not only was the DJ upbeat, engaging, and fun, he listened to our wants and dislikes and took everything into account. Their online portal is SUPER user friendly, they made meeting up via zoom very convenient, and they kept the party going continuously. The venue had to kick us out because everyone wanted to stay and dance. They also offered other services such as photobooth & ambiance lighting that gave our venue (and our first dance) that romantic feel. My organization’s Christmas Party was in Antelope Valley in Palmdale. We are a military organization from Edwards AFB, which usually we would of had our own DJ/Emcee, but our needs changed at the last minute. Tasty Sounds and DJ Al were very accommodating to our last minute needs(Less than 2 weeks). Even though it was last minute, the comfortability and professionalism that Tasty Sounds provided was like we have been planning for months. Tasty Sounds DJ Our wedding 10/02/2021 Great selections of DJs to choose from. Great packages to choose from, we went with the Elvis We went with Mike, funny guy and entertaining. Mike was great on mixing our songs on ceremony and reception for our entrances. Mike was at venue place early to setup, understand the layout, and did a great job displaying the lights for the up lighting and specialty lighting. Mike was great at playing songs that people requested. Has a great playlist to choose from or he can look it up quick for you. Al was the D.J./MC at the reception after my husband’s memorial service. He chose the perfect spot at the restaurant for the slideshow. He was the D.J. for our wedding reception 16 years ago, and seeing him again brought back many happy memories of that special day. I am not sure how I came about Tasty Sounds Entertainment, but it has been a great experience. I was first using (DJ Al) him for just the school Jog-A-Thon (Fun Run), and now he is used for all our school events. He has always has the newest music, but also the 'oldies but goodies'. This review is WAY overdue.  Our event was on September 30th.  It was my husband's retirement.  We had it at a new venue.  I have to admit, I probably was a hard client to please .  We are big fans of country music so we only had Tasty Sounds (Al , the owner) only play country music.  making sure that everything was done and Al exceeded my expectation.  He was on time, set up was done, and even pitch-in where we could.  Did sound check and before I knew it music was on.  Even though the speakers were in the ear shot of many of the guests he made sure it was not blaring into our ears either.  Great job.  Even though I know him for years he still was a professional. I hired Tasty Sounds to entertain at my 60th birthday party. It was a great experience. My DJ was professional and friendly and he was able to find all the music I wanted (which was no small task as I was doing a 1940s theme! ) My guests were very impressed with how well he served as the MC of the night and he kept the party rolling. His prices were reasonable, his expertise sensational and overall my experience was great. He even stayed an hour longer than I had contracted and didn't charge me a nickle! From the first time we spoke with Al we knew he was a great choice for wedding reception DJ. He was knowledgeable, responsive, he listened to what we wanted and helped us to decide on our final schedule and his website was very easy to use and helped us to organize our music for the evening. The night of the event was a blast. Al nailed the timing with songs and kept the dance floor hopping. He even came out and led a dance with the wedding party. We had an outdoor event and he had people outside of the event walls dancing as they walked by!!! He is the kind of person who doesn't over promise. Al DJ'd my wedding 5 years ago and everyone had the best time! He knew exactly what worked well with our crowd and it felt like he really "got" us and our style. When my sister started planning her wedding, my mom immediately suggested we check with Al to see if he would travel to San Diego. He happily did and was amazing once again! It wasn't at all the same reception as ours, but it was equally fun and totally fit my sister and her guests. Al is great at pacing - neither of us had a dedicated day-of coordinator so Al really ran the show and kept things moving so we didn't have to worry about all the timing details. He can gauge when people are ready to dance, when they need a break, how long their attention spans are for speeches, etc. and make adjustments on the fly. More...

I met the dj's of Tasty Sounds at a wedding expo at the Odyssey restaurant right after I had just proposed to my now wife. On first glance, they had a very professional vibe, everyone there was in suits and really friendly and not too pushy. Al gave me a couple follow up emails and calls and my wife and I met with him to discuss what we wanted and how we envisioned our reception would play out. He discussed the packages available and for what price. Heads up, Al is a pro and his prices reflect that. My wife really liked Al and we both felt really comfortable with him as our DJ. He ended up giving us a solid deal for a cocktail hour and four hours for the reception. He also has other cool packages (photo booth, lighting, etc.) but we chose to just go with the DJ package and I never felt pressured to buy or upgrade to anything else once we declined.

At the reception itself (we had it at the Odyssey), Al made sure that everything went smoothly. Things can get hectic quickly but Al kind of took care of logistics after our ceremony heading into the reception. Everything went super smooth and he helped make our wedding a great night. We also told him we didn't want certain things and wanted some other specific things and he was very accommodating and made sure we got what we wanted. Everyone danced all night and I've been asked by multiple guests for his contact info. We had a great experience and I would recommend Tasty Sounds for anyone looking for a high quality and professional DJ. More...
