I had a great time volunteering for TastersHub Food Co. while they catered the 2018 Humane Canada Gala. They prepped and delivered a beautiful variety of vegan and vegetarian hors d'oeuvres for over 150 people, which took place overlooking the falls on Sussex drive.

What’s your signature dish?
Each of our chefs has their own signature dish to offer you. We have had the pleasure of serving East Indian, Mexican, Columbian, Haitian, Nigerian, Pakistani, Greek, French, Dutch, German, Hakka Vietnamese, Thai and Fusion cuisine. TastersHUB Food Co. proudly also offers a vegan menu from its vegan branch VEGANology.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
In determining the right culinary selections for the individual client it is important to first and foremost understand their vision of the event. Based on this vision we can interpret their needs and suggest appropriate menu options. Food is an experience for the senses, so that it is crucial to understand what is being celebrated.
What do you love most about your job?
My favorite part of the job is connecting with people and meeting the challenge of delivering on their needs after getting a glimpse into that ‘vision’
What inspired you to start your own business?
Food is like an art and yet it is a science. In our labs we do not work...we play. As the owner my passion is combining ingredients to elevate foods to create new dishes that bring new flavours, textures and experiences to the diner. The idea of blending foods from different cultures, of making simple food ingredients into gourmet cuisine is the ultimate challenge and passion behind each dish.
Why should our clients choose you?
One could say that the answer is clear, we have a price match guarantee; but our guarantee stipulates that we must be able to maintain our product quality. This means a lot to the company. We stand behind the quality of our product so we are also confident in our pricing. If we feel lowering a prIce would jeopardize product quality, TastersHUB Food Co. will let you know.
