I’ve gone here multiple times before and the food never disappoints. This time I decided to stop by on a Wednesday around early noon so after the lunch rush. I went i, there were 2 people eating and when I got to the service area, there was no one around and I stood by the register waiting to get served. It wasn’t until I had to make an audible noise for a lady to finally come out and help me out. I decided to get the 1/4 chicken and rice and I know they have that as a special on Thursdays but that’s my favourite dish from this place so I still got it. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s not the special that day but the take out container they packed it in was in the rectangular container when before I’ve gotten in the square containers. My question is, does it only come in the square container during the specials day? TLDR; Food overall was delicious as always but service was lacking this time around and the smaller container threw me off as this was my first time ordering that dish in a smaller container. Excellent food. I very much enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, and very relaxed and friendly. I only knocked off a point on the atmosphere, and I'm sure given time it will be corrected no issue, they're in the middle of renovations, so there is building materials to navigate around, and the bathroom was a bit tricky to find. But that's not what I was there for. The food was great and the staff were great, so don't let a little atmosphere get in the way if you want to have some Mediterranean food. I really did enjoy it. And I'm quite sure that when the renovations are complete, it'll be fantastic again. All I have to say is don't judge a book by its cover. A great place to get shwarma in a wrap or part of a platter. Sauces and salads are tasty and they are added as you order. There is a clean, small dine-in or waiting area which makes it handy for a quick lunch spot.
