Chef Dan was recommended to us by a close friend & I couldn't be more pleased with him and his staff. He is passionate about his work, the food was delicious and his main goal was to ensure all our needs were met. Â The thing that stood out was he made us feel like a priority and not just another paycheck. His food was so good it tasted like a home cooked meal, not cafeteria food. Â We had several conversations/meetings prior to our event which totally eliminated any mistakes or surprises. Â The staff was friendly, helpful, and actually left the area spotless (Which is rare with some Catering companies).I will be hiring him for all of our future events and even small dinner parties. Taste catering owned n managed by Dan is by far one of the best places from we have got catering done. It amazes me to see how passionate Dan is about food n so involved, that your party is gonna nothing be but a huge success. This catering business is very good. Â We had a bookclub Holiday Dinner that we wanted catered and Dan was very helpful in working with dairy allergies and setting up a menu that would work with our budget. Â The dinner went off without a hitch even though Dan had a flat tire on the way to the house. Â They were super organized! Â It was a sit down dinner and Taste Catering handled all the prep and serving, etc. Â We were very impressed and the food was really delicious. Chef Dan & Donna created one of the most memorable experience for us when they catered for our Baby Shower. Not only did they cater, they also managed the overall event for us including a theme based venue set up & decoration. The food spread was impeccable right from preparation to presentation. They also ensured personal service to all the guests at the event. As a professional agency, they have been very accommodating to the minutest of detail in managing our expectation. Just booked my son's wedding with Taste Catering. So happy with the professionalism  how everything was handled. I have no doubt in my mind that they are by far the best in Reno and the out lining communities. Dan Shirley always goes above and beyond!! So easy to talk with and can see your vision. All I can saw is WOW! Â I was here from out of town to plan a surprise event for my fathers birthday. Â By sheer luck I found Taste Catering and it turned out to be the most fabulous event ever! I met Chef Dan Shirley at a Birthday party of one of our neighbors in South Reno. Â He provided the best fruit salad and appetizers I have ever seen! Â Not only the presentation was stunning but the unique mix of flavors was simply delicious. Â He also provided matching napkins and plates, the table was colorful and elegant.
