I ordered from Taqueria Los Güeros a few days ago and the food was great! I had a carnitas burrito with bacon and it was so good, I intend to order from them again very soon. The horchata was very refreshing and made a fine dessert drink. The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because of the parking situation. They only have about 4 spots behind the restaurant and it is very tricky to negotiate the curve into the lot behind the building, even worse when there is multiple vehicles trying to park.But I have nothing but positives for the food or the staff! Taco Tuesday is definitely the best day to go! 5 tacos for $5. The Al Pastor was definitely the best of the available taco meats. They forgot the cilantro but when I asked for it. They gave me extra so I was not complaining! The chicken was ok and I didn't try the carnitas. My friend really liked the steak tacos and she's hard to please so I'm sure they were good. This place has 5-star food with 2-star service. The eats are worth returning for, but don't be surprised if the counter girls ignore or are curt. What would you expect in a full-employment economy? If you can look past service glitches, you will be abundantly rewarded as each dish is a flavor packed bonanza. The family behind Taqueria is from Puebla, Mexico which is in east-central Mexico and known for its rich culinary history. Friendly staff, i haven't had a bad experience going there. Orders take about 5-15mins to make on average depending on how many items and how busy it is. The churros are so good! It has atmosphere. Its smaller than I thought it'd be but that adds to the places atmosphere. The seating unique to this restaurant (I haven't seen other mexica restaurant here with this type of seating) it reminds me of how puestos de tacos have their seats in the towns. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. My personal favorite is Tacos Mexicano with cherizo, extra lime, and cilantro. Whether I go to the Paterson, or Bloomfield location its delicious every!!!!!! Id give it 10 if I could!
