Such a friendly little corner of Waterloo! Staff are lovely & make you feel very welcome. Cocktails are amazing! The real deal - not bulked up with lemo or cordials but natural fruit! Food is always spot on & reasonably priced (especially early doors!) Can't wait to go back :-) More...

We always have a lovely meal when we're in Tapas. Took my elderly (80 years old) parents in and the staff could not have been more accommodating, they really looked after us all. Made sure our table was downstairs so that the toilet was nearby. Fail to understand comment from Lola Lou touch of sour grapes maybe More...

Amazing! We visit our daughter in Waterloo quite a lot and we always visit Tapas Tapas. We've been 3 times in 4 days and have booked for New Year's Eve already! Food, cocktails and service are always brilliant and the atmosphere is great! Usually a good offer on but even if there isn't, the food is great value, as are the cocktails and wine. Actually, why am I doing this? I don't want loads of people booking up tables so that I can't get in! Tapas Tapas is already very popular and will only continue to be a great success! Well done, lovely staff. We'll be seeing you well before New Year's Eve! More...

I felt like I'd popped into an authentic tapas bar in the centre of Madrid! Top hospitality from Alex who welcomed us at the door and the team. The tapas were A-Ma-Zing! Great portions of Croquetas, Calamares and Patatas Bravas for less than £10. We loved it so much we are going back for more at the weekend! More...

Had a great night here last week when we had a family get together to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. I spoke to Martin beforehand about some special requirements and nothing was too much trouble. On the night the food and service was excellent as it has been every time we have visited here. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Spanish food. Thanks to everyone for a lovely evening. Lyn More...

Went to the brew off and over all it was a great night. Thought it took a little bit long for each course to come out bit the first 5 where fantastic. It was a shame that the desert was a lot down. The majority of the beers that had been paired with the food where great. The staff where also very friendly. More...

My boyfriend and I love trying new places to eat, but since coming to Rookwood two weeks after it first opened we have been back numerous times, and always had amazing food and amazing service. Staff are always really helpful and informative and are always clear on what I can have that is gluten free (they are brilliant on cross contamination and will tell me if the food is cooked in a separate fryer or not - they often do!) And they are more than happy to adapt menu items so that I can enjoy as much as possible. Would highly recommend this place, lovely atmosphere and always seems busy so make sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment or a long wait. More...

Tapas Tapas; so good, they named it twice.  Not that that is always the case, though - former Man. United player Eric Djemba Djemba for example, he was terrible. Thankfully, Tapas Tapas is nothing like the disappointing midfielder in question, with the restaurant offering Crosby residents the very best in Spanish tapas.  Situated on the busy South Road, Tapas Tapas is a welcome change from the usual dated pubs and takeaways in the area that offer the same sort of thing no matter which one you go in.Tapas Tapas brings a slice of Mediterranean cuisine to the area, with its menu offering a fine selection of Spanish tapas including all my favourites like chorizo, patatas bravas and Spanish omelettes, as well as a few more speciality dishes.  Their prices are fairly reasonable but your meal can get a bit expensive if you end up being too eager and order more than you can eat (it's easily done, believe me) although if you share the load between a few people, it's not so bad.The restaurant itself has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, with the friendly waiting on staff happy to see to your every need.  If you haven't tried out this place yet, then I highly recommend you do soon. After basking in the summer sunshine of the Costa del Crosby, Tapas Tapas is perfect for a refeshing sangria and some delicious Spanish cuisine. Having never been to Spain I can't say it is authentic, only very good. The staff are great too; when celebrating my niece's first birthday we realised a little late on that she could eat neither solids nor spicy food, aware of this the waiter provided some freshly mashed potato, complete with candle, and a delightful rendition of 'Happy Birthday'. I have recently discovered a second Tapas Tapas in the city centre which I very much want to try.. More...

Hitting up Spain and indulging in tapas before a tasty meal is one of my favourite things to do. But seeing as how I'm not in the beautiful country right now, I'm going to have to settle for Tapas Tapas in Waterloo. The Spanish restaurant does not disappoint, with an authentic atmosphere and decor. On the menu are all my favourite things: king prawns, chorizo sausage, and omelette. If that doesn't suit you, then Tapas Tapas also offers a range of other dishes from pan con tomate to pollo al ajillo. After ordering patatas bravas and ensalada de la casa, which was served delightfully in the prettiest of dishes, I was very content indeed. Especially after I'd had a glass of rioja blanco! The Tapas restaurant is very reasonably priced and best enjoyed with a group of people. More...
