BEST PRESENT EVER!!!! I had an absolute BLAST!

If you are anything like me, the sound of breaking glass is soooooo cathartic! And there were so many glass things to break. I basically played baseball with vases, bowls and picture frames. AND I LOVED EVERY SECOND!

Plus you can play your own music while destroying things. And I made myself the best playlist for it.

This place is the absolute best stress relieving place there is! I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun smashing everything in a room! My wife and I came there after two weeks of cabin fever from being sick and dealing with the stress of an unexpected car wreck. She decided she needed a healthy way to get out her pent up frustration and anger and I just love breaking things. After we left she felt more relaxed than I’ve ever seen her. We will definitely be coming back to smash up more stuff and love that we’ve found such a healthy avenue for any anger we need to get out of our body! More...

It's a great place to go to get rid of the annoying little frustrations like construction traffic or when your just having one of those days. You go in the room and you can scream and yell and break stuff. Then when you come out...you just feel so much more relaxed. Love it!!! More...

This was just what I needed. I smashed things with a pipe and a golf club and it was a fantastic way to relieve stress & anxiety. I told the owner it was better than sky diving or a trip to the gun range. After a first few hits I was laughing so hard I had tears on my eyes for the rest of my time in the room. Brilliant idea!!! Only suggestion to a customer would be to choose a "weapon" that is suitable to your strength. I definitely tore my back up using a pipe, should have used a golf club the whole time instead. I love Shawn! I've come here a few times since my mom's passing. She's such a nice person. She remembers my favorite "weapons" and is sure to have plenty of wine bottles for me to destroy. Great place to blow off steam!

This was definitely a unique experience and as good as it gets. Who hasn't ever wanted to just break something? My boyfriend and I chose a 10 minute session and I reserved online through their website ahead of time. I also printed the waiver forms from online beforehand to save us some time there.There's an abundance of safety gear like safety glasses, face guards, gloves, and coveralls if needed. I believe gloves and safety glasses are mandatory (for good reason). I would recommend dressing in closed toed shoes and jeans as little pieces of ceramic and glass fly around the room. You then get to pick your "weapon" if choice: sledge hammer, golf club, bat, or a paddle. We both brought in a bat and picked up a sledge hammer and golf club as well. The room is set up with a bunch of different breakable things to hit, and I LOVE the Bluetooth speaker option. I read about it beforehand so I had asked my boyfriend to create a small mix of some aggressive/exciting music. Glad we did because it added so much to the experience. it was really fun to be able to just let go and whack away at everything. The first thing we did when our session started was chunk a mug because why not?! Shawn is the wonderful owner and host of our experience. Incredibly accommodating. Tantrums is awesome. I got a 15 minute session for a stressed out friend, and it was great to see her take out her frustrations with a golf club. I loved everything about it. Surely I don't have to tell you great it is to freely break stuff and not have to clean up the mess. My boyfriend surprise me with a Groupon for this place after hearing me complain all week about my work life. I had never heard of this place until then. The theme of this place is to take 5,10,15 minutes etc to break as much as you can in a room full of random stuff just because. Spa Days, Yoga, Happy Hour, and Church are all great ways to relieve stress; but I must say there is nothing like Effing Ish Up! I truly left feeling great. Here are 5 reasons why would recommend. 5.You will definitely sweat. So if you find yourself wanting to loose weight but hate the gym or even working out this is a great alternative. 4. Don't worry no one will be able to see your inner psycho. You will have your own private room to destroy. There are no double sided mirrors or windows in any of the rooms. 3. They have Bluetooth speakers for you to connect your phone/ mp3 player to just in case you like your destruction with a side of background music. (I believe this is the one thing off limits to your demise) You can play the music as loud as you want. Really! No one cares. 2. The staff (aka owner) is really laid back and friendly. They have no problem taking pictures for you before, during, and after. 1. You get to pick your weapons of choice (my favorite part of the experience). They have golf clubs, sledge hammers, steel bats, etc. Although it sounds a little dangerous, they do provide safety eye ware and gloves. My husband and I had a blast at Tantrums! We heard about this place from word of mouth and decided to see it for ourselves. You can make reservations online, but it might be better to call and do it that way, as the times listed on the website (at the time) were not the same as the true hours of operation. The woman who owns the place was working to fix it, but I had a ton of questions before I came so it might be best to call directly if you're a first timer.The location is tucked away in an unassuming business park, so there is a big parking lot. Walk in, sign a waiver, and get down to business!Tantrums is everything you'd hope it would be! You seriously go into a room that is already prepared for you with breakable goodies, and you smash them to bits in your allotted time! And the best part is, you leave it that way and don't have to clean up after yourself! You can choose from several different WMDs (bats, golf clubs, sledgehammers, etc. They provide several different options for personal protection - you are required to wear safety glasses and gloves, but they have face masks, coveralls and a few other things. Don't skimp on the PPE, people. Wear pants and closed toed shoes, for sure. I wore a short sleeved shirt and wish I would have worn long sleeves because I got cut from flying glass (I LOVED breaking the glass wine bottles in our room). I opted for a face shield too and I'm glad I did. Our clothes had bits of glass and stuff in them when we were done, so I'd suggest not wearing something super nice or plan to go somewhere nice directly afterward, or just bring a change of clothes.You can go into a room by yourself or with others. My husband and I spent 15 minutes in one room together and I felt that was a really good amount of time. We basically destroyed everything the best we could. The first few minutes we were pretty timid but quickly got into it. It was hard for both of us to hit things at one time, so we took turns to make sure we didn't hit each other or shatter glass in each other's direction. My husband had a blast taking a sledgehammer to a giant TV after a frustrating day at work.I was there for the novelty of it, and my husband was there to blow off steam. Either way, we both left happy. It's definitely not something we could afford ALL the time, but we definitely got our money's worth! Can't wait to go back! More...

It felt so wrong, but it felt so good. I had no idea that a computer screen was so hard to break, that TVs pop when smashed and that cheap China makes awesome baseballs. My husband surprised me by bringing me here. When he told me that I'd probably want to wear jeans and steel toe boots, I was worried. Of course I didn't listen and came in shorts and tennis shoes. I probably missed out on some good kicking.This is definitely a place to come if you have some built up anger or anxiety. The owner actually said that a lot of people come here as a part of therapy. This would be a great team building place!Tantrums fills a room with old dishes, holiday Yard decorations, TVs and computers...then they give you the weapon of choice. You can pick from golf clubs, baseball bats, steel pipes, sledge hammers, and much more. Then they give you a Bluetooth speaker to blare whatever music you choose, lock you in a room of breakables, and let you go to town until the egg timer goes off.
