Tanli did the photography for our wedding this June in Chipping Campden. We are so thrilled with the photographs and cannot recommend her highly enough. She captured the day so well, taking a mixture of formal bride and groom and family photographs, as well as candid photos which captured the events of the day in a very natural way. Her approach is very friendly yet also professional and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Tanli photographed our wedding at the end of March this year and I can’t recommend her enough - we were totally blown away with the final photos from the day. Tanli’s candid style really captured the day as we remembered it with lots of smiles, tender moments and some silly shots for good measure. Tanli was such a professional but so personable and everyone felt relaxed around her. Her creativity really comes through and we have some photos that we would never have imagined. Tanli is incredibly talented and we feel so blessed we found her for our family photo shoot in the Cotswolds. We visited from San Francisco and were looking for a photographer to capture a Christmas card photo of our family + baby + nephews + grandparents and she absolutely nailed it! Her photos brought tears to my eyes!! Her ability to capture beautiful candid moments with a 16 month old is nothing short of magical. We were so glad that we booked Tanli as our wedding photographer. She is so friendly and easy to get along with and as soon as we met her over a year before our wedding, we felt completely at ease. We were a little apprehensive before our pre-wedding shoot as neither of us feel comfortable in front of the camera, but we had nothing to worry about! Me and my other half are both a bit camera shy and Tanli immediately made us feel at ease. Tanli is a very talented photographer, and she is extremely diligent with her work. My family and I are from Hong Kong and we were in Cotswolds for summer holiday. Tanli was very flexible in attending our request on the location of the shots. She communicated to us very well on how she would approach the session right at the beginning. From the very first moment we met Tanli for an informal chat over coffee to discuss being our wedding photographer we knew we found the right person. Her friendly personality shone through and we felt so comfortable and at ease from the beginning. Her style of photography is exactly what we love, and we knew there and then she would capture our day perfectly. A huge winner for us was having a pre-wedding shoot where we had a fun few hours with Tanli getting us used to being in front of the camera, messing about and laughing a lot and making us feel relaxed so that she could capture those natural moments :-) She made the whole experience fun and easy as we're not naturally comfortable in front of a camera. On our wedding day itself, Tanli seemed to be able to get pictures of everything and everyone and yet we never felt aware of a camera pointing at us. We still don't know how she did it! Absolute highlight were the sunset shots we had towards the end of the day - jaw-droppingly beautiful shots that are out of this world! Can't wait to turn one into a large canvas to hang in our house! So many people have commented on the pictures and how fabulous they are, and we can't thank or recommend Tanli enough!!! :-) Simply awesome! Book her while you can!!!

My Husband and I met with Tanli about a year before our wedding after seeing photographs she had previously taken at our venue. We were so impressed with the photos she showed us and with how friendly and lovely she was, that we booked her right away. A few weeks before our wedding, we had a pre-wedding shoot with Tanli which really helped us feel comfortable with being in front of the camera and gave us an opportunity to get to know her better. By the time our wedding day arrived, we really did feel relaxed and at ease with Tanli photographing our special day. We arranged for Tanli to come and take some family photographs to celebrate our mum's 60th birthday and it couldn't have been a more amazing experience! We first met with Tanli in Nov 2016, 16 months before our wedding and straight away we were made to feel comfortable and relaxed around her. A year later and we arranged with Tanli for our ‘Pre Wedding Shoot’. We were a little nervous for this day as both my fiancé and I had never experienced an outside shoot with a photographer before, turns out, we had nothing to worry about at all, Tanli was amazing! To make things better we only had a short wait of anticipation for ‘how the photos would look’ before they were all edited and sent to us and we absolutely loved them!! So much so, we decided to incorporate them into our guestbook for the wedding. The whole experience gave us so much more confidence for the fast approaching big day which when it came around was like a dream! Tanli was again incredible! She remained polite to all the guests yet never made us aware of the camera, very non obtrusive. We booked Tanli for a family photo shoot because i wanted to have some professional photos taken of my daughter. My mum and I don't really enjoy having our photo taken so were a little apprehensive about the session, however right from the start Tanli made us all relax and we all found the shoot was a really enjoyable and fun experience. Tanli was brilliant to work with, she was a real professional but also really personable. She was incredibly enthusiastic, even when it poured down on our wedding day! She still managed to capture some fabulous shots in the rain, and was brilliant with all the guests, seamlessly blending in. Tanli was warm, enthusiastic and professional from our first conversation. She was very accommodating: we had a rambling country wedding where nothing really stayed on schedule across different locations (an old church, a long walk down lanes, in the fields, in a big marquee) which isn’t easy. She was prepared and efficient- most tellingly during our practise shoot before the wedding which was on the coldest day of the year and in which she completely nailed a shoot in about 20 minutes, but also when trying to get ~200 guests who’d been drinking Pimms since 3pm into a group photograph in a field.

It took a while to decide we were going to have a photographer because we wanted natural, colourful photographs and because Emma (the bride) was a bit nervous about all the attention and feeling awkward. We’ve just seen our gallery and the photos are absolutely beautiful, and feel really personal - and we look so happy. Every photographer or designer friend we show the pictures to us also massively impressed with her work, aside from the fact we think they’re all gorgeous pictures! She’s managed to capture the joy and brightness of the day. We just hope she had as much fun as a guest at our wedding than we clearly did from her lovely pictures. More...

Tanli was our wedding photographer in June this year in the Kingscote barn, and she was fantastic! We had a pre-wedding shoot to meet each other and get comfortable in front of the camera, which was lots of fun and I really love those photos of us.
