Deeply healing and pivotal. Tanya’s session of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART, related to EMDR) was very helpful and profound. I did not know wholly what to expect. I had intentions of what to work on and without too much talk Tania had me feeling comfortable and into the work. She was with me the whole way, starting with a scene and the associated sensations in my body. My topics were emotionally charged, but her careful pacing, attentiveness and my trust in her allowed me to stretch. She would pay close attention, monitoring and guiding. Tania used various skills and suggestions that felt right for each moment and adjusting as the session progressed. The results: amazing. I felt a deep sigh of relief, relaxation and new comfort within myself. I also felt more connected to others. I consulted with 4 other therapists before I decided on Tania. I immediately felt that Tania was the right fit for me. I believed other therapists were telling me what I wanted to hear. Where after meeting with Tania, she was telling me what I could possibly work on and how she could assist me. Here patience and non-judgmental approach makes it very easy to feeling supported.
