What makes a great website?
I believe a website serves 2 main purposes.
1. To establish your authority and credibility
2. To convert visitors into leads and clients
Too often, business owners fall into the trap of hiring a novice web designer because it's cheap, and end up getting a templated brochure style website.
While this type of website does the job in some cases, it's not designed to generate leads and sales, which is what you ultimately want.
The ideal website is visually appealing, speaks clearly to the right market, and entices visitors to take the next step in the sales process through persuasive copywriting.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
As a goal-driven marketer, I like to understand what the client's goals are with the marketing campaign. Many "social media gurus" will tell you that you need to be posting 13x a day on your Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Blog to increase your number of "likes" and "followers".
In the real world, this is simply unrealistic. Plus you can't pay the bills with your "likes".
I use paid advertising and direct response marketing to help you hit your targets, in a measurable way. In order to do so, I will need to get a detailed understanding about your business, your target market, and your goals.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that marketing is both an art and a science.
For a campaign to perform well, you need to be creative about your ad, the design of the landing page, and be persuasive in your copywriting.
However, you need to make decisions based on the data presented by the campaigns. For example, if we're getting a lot of clicks on the ad but not many people are calling or submitting an inquiry, that tells us we need to make some changes onto the landing page.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My mum started her dental practice about 5 years ago. Wanting to help out, I started diving into web design and helped her build the dental clinic's website. Once the website was up however, I realised there was no one seeing the website. I started researching different marketing strategies to attract more patients. I found SEO to be too slow, and Google Ads to be too expensive. When I stumbled upon Facebook Ads, it was like a switch had clicked. Overnight, we generated 11 leads. Since then, other businesses started reaching out for help with their marketing too...
Thus, Tangy Digital was born.
