I was new to Tango. I found this place quite beginner friendly. A lot of individual attention was given. Instead of focusing on steps, the emphasis is on feelings about dance. So the steps come out naturally eventually. People are friendly here. I go there without a partner and dance with different individuals. So pretty good for getting to know people around. I also joined their Buenos Aires trip. This helped a lot in dance as well as in getting to know about tango culture. I strongly recommend this place if you are new or want to improve basics. They also have advanced classes. I look forward to attend those too. More...

I've been dancing Tango in Seattle for about 5 years. Just on and off again classes with different partners. I had a lot of fun Tango dancing. In February, I joined Sarah's Beginner's Tango Dance Team. Even though I have been dancing for 5 years, I have learned such amazing fundamentals and technique from Sarah, Jiyub and Jessica. I go to classes twice a week and I am so impressed that each class is useful and inspiring. My partners have noticed a huge improvement in the clarity of my leading and I feel much more connected to the dance. I have also met a wonderful community of fellow dancers. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience! More...

I discovered this school a little over a year ago by walking in on a walking class and I could not be happier! My tango has improved so much during this last year, I am loving it! Sara’s knowledge of human body, dance, techniques, styles and movement is so profound, and she shares it so generously – I cannot get enough! Instructors like that are rare, and we are so lucky to have her right here in Seattle! If you are serious about your tango, you simply must study with Sara and all the wonderful maestros she brings! This school is a gem! More...

The best instruction that cuts to the heart of Tango!

Sara brings a wealth of wisdom that improved my tango ... seemingly simple stuff, like: "It's just walking" ... or "the lead isn't something different than you . .. your dancing is the lead"... or "first be on your axis, second connect with your partner, and everything else will flow from there". I learned so much in so little time ... super grateful to have Sara visit our community in Alaska! More...
