What do you love most about your job?
From the age of 10 I taught myself how to use computers and have continued my passion into my working life, my role as director of a web design company since 1996 has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, from individual freelancers to small businesses, from start ups to established companies. I enjoy helping people get the most out of information technology and am adept at breaking problems down into actionable tasks and turning jargon into plain English that can be understood by users of any level.
What inspired you to start your own business?
1996 was an exciting year for the Internet, I was keen to apply my knowledge of this new technology and to work in an emerging industry and so started my web design business. It must be said that during the early years most of my initial client meetings involved me explaining what the World Wide Web was all about!
