If you want to achieve your fitness goals then Tam is the guy to speak to. Very knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend Tan for anyone who wants help with losing weight, build muscle or genera fitness.

I’ve had the pleasure of Tams experience, insight and expertise for the last 10 months. I initially started and completed Tam’s 12 week program and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Tams friendly and amenable approach to personal training is simply amazing! I was nervous and worried that I wouldn’t see it through but Tams encouragement is helping me to achieve my goals. Been boxing training with tam now twice a week for about 10 weeks and absolutely love it. Chose to train with tam for his background in boxing. I have been boxing and kickboxing for over 22 yrs. Tam is such a lovely guy and you feel like you have known him for yrs. It can be daunting deciding to find a trainer but from our first session he makes you feel at ease and has a lovely calm way about him. Very friendly. Professional and makes training fun. We do laugh alot. Very knowledgeable about diet. Food.the body and injuries. I have achilles tendinitis. So he adapts my training to suit. He pushes me just enough but doesn't over push me. I would have to say tam is my favourite trainer out of all of my boxing trainers over the years. Always a big smile throughout training from him even when iam swearing at him! Which is quite often! Sorry tam. Lol. I would recommend tam to anyone. If you are thinking of contacting tam do it. I love my training with him and thats it he's got me twice a week for life now!!! Tam is brilliant. I have worked with him now for some 18 months and have never been fitter. I hate going to the gym on my own but look forward to being challenged to work my hardest by Tam. I've been training with Tam for 9 months now. Prior to Tam I'd hit a fitness and weight loss plateau after losing 2 1/2 stone - with more to go. I've been working with tam for over 2 years now,
And can't believe how much I've changed, he always brings the best out of me in every session, he's a great motivator, he always changes your workout every session, you never know what's coming, if anyone out there is thinking about hiring a personal trainer he's the best you'll find, just go for it!!!!!

I joined Tams fitness after having my son, my aim was too lose 10lbs for a wedding I ended up losing 16lbs in 7 weeks. He created a diet plan which was suitable for breastfeeding. I really enjoyed it and my fitness levels really improved, Tam was always motivating me and keeping me up to date. I loved the workouts as he always changed them up, Tams a really lovely guy and would definitely recommend him. I will be continuing with Tams fitness untill I have achieved my ideal weight. More...

I am just about to finish my first 12 weeks with tam and I can not thank him enough for what he has done!! I started out doing low weights and struggling to even bench press 10kg on each side of the bar! Tonight I did 40kg per side plus the bar weighs 20kg! That is a total of 60kg increase in the last 10 weeks!! I was recommended by a friend and I'm glad he did as tam has motivated me to get into the gym 5 nights a week and get fitter! Tam is really encouraging and supportive with pushing you towards achieving your fitness goals. He genuinely cares about your progress and wants you to succeed and enjoy the process along the way. I really struggled with my diet, but Tam gave me a program that was easy to follow and which we regularly reviewed to keep on track. I can not praise tam enough! He has been extremely supportive and encouraging to my son. Josh enjoys tams sessions, he ensures he doesn't loose interest and varies his program to ensure he stays determined to succeed. He stays in touch with Josh's progress and offers nutritional advise.
Tam has inspired josh to be the best he can be. Josh has never been so confident! I would recommend tam to anyone , his positive attitude and understanding really motivates!

Couldn't recommend Tam enough! Have been training with him for well over two years now and he always keeps the sessions different and fun! Can often be intimidating working with a PT but this certainly isn't the case with Tam, couldn't be nicer and couldn't be more supportive to your goals � If you have a session with him, ask for some boxing �� More...

If you feel you have reached a plateau, need a new direction or extra motivation for your gym workout I would highly recommend Tam at the English Rivera Centre. I’m just coming to the end of the 12 week challenge and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Tam motivates you to work to the best of your ability, makes every session different and enjoyable but you have to except the pain as well. So he tells me. I have been training with Tam for 3 months now and I couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a PT that will push to the max but always make it fun then Tam is your man! I have been going to the gym for years but it was mainly cardio based. I wanted Tam to help me be that girl that could lift, and even though it's only been 3 months I have seen massive changes to my body. I'm stronger, fitter and most importantly happier. Tam pushes me beyond every session and boy is it hard, but as he often tells me he would never make me do anything he wasn't completely sure I could smash! Every session is a mixture of fun and pain but I leave feeling proud of myself and that's really the best thing about having a personal trainer that cares about your fitness aspirations!! Tam is an excellent motivator, he helps you focus on your goal at the pace you can cope with and will give you nutritional advice dependent on your need. I did the 12 sessions program with Tam over the summer holidays this year. I moved to Torquay last year, and having joined the gym, needed the motivation to get going with a programme to achieve my goals of toning up and getting fitter. Having worked with Tam for a few weeks, I feel as though I am back on track with achieving my goals. In particular, I love the variety of the workouts, and the fact that we do different activities each week, so I have lots of new ideas to use in my own workouts. Tam is great! I have been training with him once a week for about 10 months now and have had great results. PT sessions are focused and hard work but well worth it! I leave every week with a great sense of achievement and incentive to train further. Each session is different and challenging - we even trained outside when the weather was lovely and sunny! Tam is professional and approachable. With his motivation and encouragement I have become much fitter and have more strength and stamina than I thought I would ever have. After going to the gym for a year and seeing no sign of improvement was a big disappointment. I met Tam and thought of giving a personal trainer a chance to see if there will be any improvement in my physique.
Tam is very professional. On the first session he took my weight height records so we could compare it later. Tam provides you with personalised eating plan from breakfast to dinner with snacks in between. In the first month I saw myself 4kg heavier than what I was before. Now I've been training with Tam for a while and seeing a lot improvement on my physique and confidence level. I achieved my result with Tam which I didn't training on my own.

I have been going regularly to the gym for more years than I care to mention but I had got into a rut, doing the same repetitive exercise regime each and every time. I was still enjoying the sessions but I wasn't really pushing myself and not using the time effectively.

I often wondered whether it would be worthwhile signing up for personal training sessions and at the start of this year I took the plunge and signed up with Tam. Nine sessions in and I am now writing this review.

The first thing I should like to say is that Tam is a fantastic trainer and I have "enjoyed" every session. Tam has certainly made me work hard, harder than I have for many years in the gym but it's been worth it. I feel that I have been really pushed, which after all is what I signed up for. Importantly, Tam recognises the level that I am at and has tailored each session to me. He has also changed the content each week, which has also kept me on my toes.

I have lost a bit of weight and feel a lot better for it. I also feel much better in myself and wish I'd signed up for these sessions sooner.

I thoroughly recommend Tam to anyone especially if like me you feel that you have got into a rut in your training routine and need pushing.

Give it a try...I'm certain you won't regret it!

I took one of Tam's taster sessions for 1/2 hour which was really useful as it gave me a insight to what he offers. I was turning up to the gym doing my own workouts and was more than happy but I've heard lots of people going on about Personal training so I decided to give it a go. On introduction he asked me how I judge my own fitness?, to which I personally thought was of a good standard, how<span id="moreReview602836" class="hide"> wrong I was. I told him I like pushing myself, but what he did I can honestly say I have never experienced before, I was sick after just 20 minutes. I thought instantly I've never been able to push myself to that before because it easy just to stop. But when he's motivating along the way you can go to greater heights. I knew that this personal training with Tam was exactly what I needed. Since then I took up the 12 week plan and have not thankfully been sick as he's given me great nutritional advice which I was unaware of. He motivates in the gym, out of the gym and it really makes a huge difference. Could not recommend Tam enough! My goal was to lose weight and gain some strength and that's exactly what I have achieved. I am 10 weeks into my 12 week plan and I've never been in better shape, so far I've lost 21 pounds and well on track to lose 2 stone by the end of the 12 weeks. Tam will provide you with a diet plan which if you stick to I guarantee you will get the results. His sessions on the gym are next-to-none and pushes you to your limits  to get the best results. To top it off he is just a generally nice guy which makes the training enjoyable! Already signed up for another 12 weeks with Tam to build muscle next - would urge everyone to get signed up!!
