It's never easy choosing a photographer to capture those special first days, but I'm really happy I decided on Tamara and would definitely recommend her! Arriving a bit frazzled after needing to get a hungry newborn and somewhat tired toddler out the house together for the first time, Tamara was amazing in getting us all settled in. We recently had Tamara photograph our twins girls for thier 1st birthday cake smash shoot. I was very particular about finding the right person for this and after looking at Tamara's website several times and then speaking to her I felt very confident I'd made the right choice. Our girls are very shy around new people and it takes them sometime to relax but Tamara was wonderful. The girls were not at their happiest but that didn't stop her from producing the most gorgeous photos, we LOVED them! I was very surprised at how many great ones there were considering their moods so much so I had to have them all! I have had four photo sessions with Tamara's Photgraphy over the last five years and found her to be excellent. She was very good as making me feel relaxed about my body both pregnant and post pregnancy. I had been delighted with the results, and as a painter myself really can appreciate that she is fantastic at getting the lighting just right to flatter! She was also really patient with my six month old during a session, when even though he was in a terrible mood and cried the whole time, she didn't give hope and my some miracle came out with some lovely shots. I used Tamara's Photography for an adventurous Boudoir shoot and couldn't be more pleased with my prints. Having had two children I was self conscious of certain poses but Tamara was considerate of this and knew just the right pose, angle and light needed for a perfect shot! I was able to appreciate the work that went in to that shoot as there is lot to consider - not just her lighting but every part of me was in complimentary position! I have had three family photo sittings with Tamara. I have always found her friendly and helpful. Tamara's photos are amazing! I found it hard to choose images when ordering as they were all great.
I also have a beautiful cast of my son's hand and foot from a week after his birth that I will always cherish.

We have had a number of photo shoots with Tamara, and we will keep going back for more! We were quite nervous before our first photo shoot - we weren't quite sure what to expect and aren't natural in front of the camera, but Tamara made us feel so at ease. It was a relaxing, natural and friendly environment, thanks to Tamara. She is a complete natural and know exactly when to help the parents relax, and reads babies/toddlers so well to know when to take a break for them also.
We were fully informed of the package and costs in advance, and there were no hidden costs. She quickly turns around the outputs without rushing, and discusses the customers requirements at all stages of the process. The photos are beautiful, natural, reflective and fun - capturing such special moments in time. We would highly recommend Tamara. Our children are 4 and 2 now, and we will be returning for more pictures soon. Our daughter is easy to photograph, but it's amazing how she also captures such wonderful pictures of our very lively little boy who doesn't sit still for long - she's great at holding their attention and making them laugh. Tamara was recommended to us by a close friend who had done a maternity and new born photo shoot with her. We went to Tamara for a new born shoot with our beautiful baby girl and the whole experience was amazing!
From the moment we arrived Tamara made us feel relaxed and being a mum herself she shared many nuggets of wisdom with me as a first time mum, it felt like having my photos taken by a friend who really cared.
The pictures Tamara took were amazing and we will cherish them always. My only regret is that I wasn't aware of Tamara when I was pregnant to have maternity photos done.

We have just received our photos from a family shoot at Nonsuch park and we love them! Tamara has done a great job, especially as our 3 year old daughter was not the happiest during the shoot (even bursting into tears at one point). Tamara quickly moved us on to different spots and could see what was working and what wasn't. As a result we have ended up with a great selection of photos of our daughter on her own and several of the three of us as a family (rare indeed). Thank you very much Tamara :) More...

Tamara was able to fit me in for a maternity shoot at short notice and I am so glad that she could - I had such a wonderful time: she put me at my ease immediately and I had great fun 'baring the bump' in its final stages. She took time to explore what I wanted from the shoot and never rushed; it was a hugely enjoyable and relaxed experience. Tamara is a very talented photographer. She makes you feel at ease from the first moment and you hardly notice her snapping away and organising the whole shoot. I first went to Tamara when I was pregnant for a maternity shoot, and the photos were simply amazing that I knew I wanted a newborn shoot with Tamara. Our daughter was only 10 days old and we were shattered but it was worth the effort as the photos we can cherish forever and Tamara made us all look fantastic. Since then I have been lucky enough to have Tamara take my wedding photos and also a studio shoot of my daughter at 1 year old and recently a shoot in the bluebell woods, which I must say are truly stunning.
