Great food, decent wine. Only downer: the glass dining area is incredibly loud. Don’t come here on a Fri or Sat eve if you’re on an intimate date or you want to hear the other people at your table.

Been here a few times and it's mostly been good experiences. The food has been delicious every time. However, a friend and I had the falafel once and it was completely frozen on the inside. I was surprised that they freeze their falafel as well as being surprised that they didn't reheat them properly. I'm sure they make all the food inhouse and freeze it, I guess. A little disappointing but still worthy of four stars.Despite that disappointment I will definitely be back to try other things on the menu.Edit: went again last night and it was so good I'm upgrading my rating to five stars. I visited Vancouver for the first time ever. A friend of mine recommended that I visit Tamam because it had excellent Palestinian food, which is near and dear to my heart. I was not disappointed. I had the ground lamb (kofta in Arabic) and it was delicious. Excellently spiced. So was the hummus. But the Arabic coffee is what was really really good. Reminded me of the coffee back home. I then ordered the knafeh for dessert and that is the reason why I didn't give them 5 stars. Knafeh, traditionally, is served with simple syrup. They served it with honey, which makes it sweater than usual. If I was the owner(s), I would serve it with simple syrup. Soooo much better that way and it is not that much trouble to make it.
