What inspired you to start your own business?
James has been working in live events for 14 years. Starting in theatre at The New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth before moving onto the lighting & video team of Bourne Leisure. From here James became head of lighting for Cunard Cruise Lines. working on the Queen Mary 2, The Queen Victoria and the new ship, The Queen Elizabeth. he completed 2 full world cruises and numerous Caribbean & Mediterranean seasons before coming back to the UK. Since returning James has focussed on video work in the live events industry. His passions lay in the complex switching and vision mixing worlds. the meticulous planning and execution of events is where his rewards come from. Working with complex switchers like the Barco E2, Analog Way Ascender and Christie Spyder is a key skill set that pushes Cubed Broadcast to the next level.

If you need somewhere to shoot a drama, record a voiceover or film green screen shots we’ve got just the place for you. In the heart of the South Coast we’re perfectly suited to your needs.
TalkPod TV can provide complete packages so you know we’ve got everything covered and you’ll be getting exactly what you need, or you can pick out specific services giving you complete control of the outcome. We’ve got a great working relationship with one of the largest studio spaces on the South Coast of England. It houses two stages both with fully dimmable lighting rigs, dock doors big enough to drive in and a comfortable green room. All set in the surrounds of the beautiful South Downs with loads of free parking you’re guaranteed an exceptional experience.
Stage 1 is a flexible 35 square metre space that can be configured as a white infinity cyclorama, black box or repainted as a full greenscreen space.
Stage 2 is a smaller 9 metre square pre-lit full length greenscreen space. Turn up, switch on and you’re ready to shoot!
