Talk to the Hound offers both one-to-one dog training based from your own home and group classes for puppies and older dogs.

What do you love most about your job?
Helping dogs and their owners build on their bond and seeing great results.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My love of dogs and the life long dream of working with animals. My current dog and her training lead me to take the step to start off on my own.
Why should our clients choose you?
My aim is to give a personal and friendly service. I like to help people find a way to intergrate training and behaviour modification into both theirs and their dogs lives so they can be set up to suceed. I understand life can be busy, so by working together we. An find a way to help improve your training and build a happy and contented household.
Group Puppy Classes
6 x 1 hr sessions . For pups aged 9-20 weeks (approx) . These Classes cover both training and socialisation of your puppy. They cover basic manners along with other activities such as settle, plenty of recall, Not jumping up, biting, toileting etc.
5 month plus group training
5 x 1hr sessions - These classes are designed for dogs aged five months plus. It is a five week course and Suitable for dogs who may be missed puppy classes, need some refresher training or Are maybe new to a family. The classes will cover items such as recall, lead walking, focus, Stay and much more. The classes are held in an indoor riding school allowing for a good environment for training.
1:2:1 training from your home
3 x 1 hr sessions
This course is designed the dogs who need a little help with the training. Whether it is puppy training for those who cannot make Classes o r for older dogs who just need some assistance. The sessions will cover basic manners and in addition can be tailored to your specific needs. Sessions can be based from your home and if appropriate can be taken out and about in parks or on your local walks.
1:2:1 one off visit
For those people who just need a one off visit this can be arranged from your home. We can look at specific issues and a plan of action can be put in place for you and your dog. One off sessions will last approximately 1 - 1 1/2 hrs and can be arranged at times to suit .
