Take The Lead

I have recently studied a comprehensive dog training course with Pete over the last 6 months. He is one of the loveliest, smartest, dedicated and one of the most dog loving people I've met. He has a deep understanding of dogs and their needs and a natural empathy with all the dogs I've seen him work with. If I lived in Manchester and needed a dog walker or help with training for the little dog that is the love of my life then Pete would be the man - if he'd have us! Just had our first 121 puppy training class with Peter. I feel so much more confident already as Peter has set out a plan of action and clearly explained the best ways to positively move forwards in training with our Bonnie. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Bonnie took to him straight away and we felt very at ease with him. Can't wait for our next session and to see Bonnie blossom under his guidance. Peter has worked with both my dogs. One is super fast and one is very calm and careful. His approach to both is fantastic and I even though I have trained dogs for 14 years I would happily attend his classes and learn something new

Fantastic dog trainer, my dogs loved him and I could see the difference in my dogs within only a couple of sessions. This guy is so friendly and helpful and he made it lots of fun for me and my dogs. I would highly recommend him

Our dog goes to Pete for doggy day care, he is truly amazing. He sends regular updates, and looks after my baby like he would his own.

Take the Lead were fantastic when my regular dog walker had to take leave at short notice. Peter really put my mind at rest and was flexible enough to fit in with my needs . We have used Take The Lead emergency day care service, which was absolutely fantastic. Pete arranged to get a key from us quickly, collected our little dog Frida in his own car which was really safe for transporting pets.
Looked after her all day and brought her home later, we had regular photo updates, we felt really happy with this service, highly recommend, Frida had so much one to one attention, which was great, she came home very happy. She loves Pete and Max, and she now has regular walks. More...
