Welcome to Tails of Gloucester.
We are a professional dog walking and pet sitting company based in Gloucester.
We are a small team led by owners Sharon and Laurie. We have over 30 years experience in dog and other small pet ownership, have behaviour and obedience training experience and a Kennel Club registered kennel for breeding our show quality dogs so we understand how important your beloved pet is.

Bailey the Boxer adores the whole team at Tails of Gloucester. He gets beyond excited when he gets picked up for his walks. He has had a few health issues and Laurie, Sharon and the girls go above and beyond in caring for him. They have been walking Bailey since he was around 14 weeks old and I can't recommend them enough for the care and attention they lavish on Bailey and if we get stuck having an extra long day they think nothing of popping back round to let him out for a wee and a quick cuddle if we message them. What do you love most about your job?
Our passion is animals, we love spending time with all types of pets, whether this is helping them being more confident, giving them exercise or a well deserved tummy tickle in front of the fire in our homes, its a real pleasure for us to take the worry away from pet owners and fill them with confidence tht we will take care of their pet as if they were our own.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We both have been involved with pets and especially dogs from training, showing and breeding for a number of years. We met 5 years ago through our love of dogs and have shared our hobby together since then.
Sitting on the M5 one day worrying about getting back for the dogs it dawned on me there was no one that I could call on, that I could trust, to pop in on my dogs apart from Sharon and this triggered our conversation about professional trained pet sitters. A few days later we gave notice on our jobs, refreshed our skills in dog behaviour and training, took our animal first aid course, prepared our homes and became licensed and thus began Tails of Gloucester!
