Zen is absolutely incredible! She fixed my wedding dress with 2 weeks to go and despite her own busy calendar of clients. She was able to strike that perfect balance of telling me honestly that there were problems with my dress, but instilling confidence in me that she could definitely fix them . The whole time I felt I was in safe hands and when I picked it up, my dress was absolutely perfect. Zen was absolutely fantastic when it came to adjusting my wedding dress. As I had bought it in the sale, it was two sizes too big, it also had a huge train which I didn’t want. Zen was happy to oblige (even with 5 layers to shorten) and offered some ideas of what else could be done, for example adding a sparkly belt. I don’t know where to begin! I met Zenub after I purchased my first wedding dress at a store in London. And she was amazing! Not only is she an incredible seamstress with a long list of credentials, but she also has a phenomenal eye for detail, and she genuinely cared that I was happy with the changes.I met with her again at her studio when my second dress arrived. She pinned it superbly, listened to all of my dress concerns and managed to turn it all around so perfectly and quickly! The alterations were all amazing and the dresses fit me perfectly. Even the difficult changes (like making the dress slightly wider!) were all fantastic and you couldn’t tell the differences whatsoever! I'm so happy I met Zen!! She's so friendly and talented! Zen altered my wedding dress perfectly, it was a sale dress with a few tears and Zen has covered them beautifully with lace! She also added matching lace to my trail! She has also altered my bridesmaid dress and that's perfect too. I could not speak highly enough of Zen! She is amazing. I took my wedding dress to her to have a belt added and some cups which was done perfectly. My mum had an unexpected operation on her shoulder 2 days before the wedding. At such short notice, Zen added poppers to the shoulders of my mums dress to make sure she could still wear it on the day. Zen is truly talented and remarkable seamstress. Last year, she altered a complicated dress for me with two weeks notice to wear at a wedding. I totally forgot to write a review on that. Sorry -(. Today I collected two even more complicated designer dresses that she altered to perfection!!! I recommend Zen to anyone who is worried about dresses with sesquence, pleating or other detailed prints on the fabric. Zen is also creative which makes her unique. Zen is an extremely talented bespoke tailor and dress-maker and a wonderful person. She meticulously unpicked the intricate lace detail on my wedding dress so it could be shortened by 10cm and altered it from a size 12/14 to a size 6/8. This passed weekend my husband had his staff awards dinner at the Grosvenor. Since it was a black tie event I had to buy a floor length dress and of course I found mine at last minute which meant I needed last minute tailoring. I found Zenub's website and knew it would be a long shot, but I decided to try anyway ( Saturday, the dinner was Sunday!). I was so thrilled she was able to tailor my dress, she completely saved my bum! My dress came out perfectly and we had a wonderful evening. Had some sleeves altered as they were a little tight. Zenub was so lovely, friendly and chatty which put me at ease as sometimes it can be a bit embarrassing having to get things altered when they're a little on the small side! I brought my wedding dress to Zenub with major alterations needed such as more material added to the bust, several layers of the dress removed and the dress shortened. Due to the material of the dress even the shortening of the dress was a difficult job. But Zenub managed to transform the dress to fit me perfectly and has made the dress look like a different dress. She was very friendly and accommodating and managed to fit me in for an appointment fairly quickly to sort the dress out. Zen is just fabulous! I found her alteration service via Facebook and am so, so pleased I chose her. I'm quite body conscious and I was dreading being prodded and poked at. Zen put me at ease and made the whole process an absolute pleasure, it became a chat with a lovely lady with a bit of pinning involved. The alterations were fantastic and my dress fitted perfectly. She spotted all kinds of fitting issues that I would never have noticed and sorted out a way to adjust my train so I could move about after the ceremony.
